Did I make a big mistake? I bought a Yong Heng compressor from China!!

"Bizill"
"c.schulz"Well I may have figured it out on my own. For sure the quick coupler will not fit the gun so I ordered a new one on line also found that my lines have the bspp thread. Pretty straight forward when you research it. Let's hope it works. I've been dying to shoot this gun for a while now. Not to mention trying out the compressor.

Chris
The cheap Chinese compressor lines are 10x1... which lines do you refer to as having bspp? Definitely not the lines that came with the compressor.

I ended up needing to find an m10x1 to 1/8bspp adapter and couldn't so I had to have one made at work. Hopefully whatever you did works for your situation. If you find you don't have the threads you thought you did, don't try to "make" them work.

Looks to be you are correct sir. The fitting will thread in place and hold but for how long Im not sure. So Ill be making and adapter as you said above.

Thanks Chris

50 hz machines run 20% faster and produce 20% more power when run on 60 Hz so it is very possible that the motor if only rated for 50 Hz it might not handle the USA grid power!
Power demand will also increase by at least 20% and may increase up to the square of the speed increase.

quick question - did you use Amazon for a second compressor and that one works? or did you manage to fix the original? Unclear.

I bought the yong heng through amazon.the vendor wanted me to return it for hesitating on start up.i wasn't paying for shipping nowhere so I was refunded my payment.i did not say I bought another one...the compressor started working properly,i do not know how or why it fixed itself.so no I did not buy another compressor and I did not ship it back.it just started working as it should.it cost them way more to ship back and forth so vendor refunded my payment and I still have a functioning compressor that works as it should...

Hey I'm late to the party and skimmed but thought maybe I can help...I have the same unit only the 110v...is the unit supplied with the auto stop pressure gauge....if so it maybe shutting off and beeping because it has reached that pressure....I also have a cricket and fill from this compressor and it has to do with the slow fill system and while filling it you will need to bleed the low pressure side or hpa side to keep things in the same realm as the pressure in gun or else it will blow a disk.. when my cricket has 150 bar and I fill the compressor will shoot to 3600-4000 and keep climbing due to the slow fill so just bleed some air off to keep it just a little above cricket and will fill with ease I have filled many guns and tanks with this compressor and it's a amazing unit for price I would recommend getting a better inline dryer though any info wanted let me know I have ran my compressor though it's paces good luck

Yes in was a Yong Heng. Only issue I have had is the qc wouldnt work with my gun so I had to purchase a fitting to convert from one thread type to another. I preferred the Air Venturi parts with BSPP over the npt threads. So this is the route I've taken
Don't forget the seals.
