Edgun Matador draws first blood!

After killing most of the rats in my area I had to set up feeders near heavy brush. This girl (I think) came out and was scoping things out abit when I hit her from 30 yards away. It's been a little over 3 months since I last shot a rat. They are alot funner to hunt than squirrels imo. She was a bigum for a Florida rat.

So this matador was purchased off the members classified section, I was told it has a huma reg set at 130 bar. I don't have a chrony but I believe it shooting the .22 in 920/910 fps area. I have a ATN X sight 4k 5-20x50 with IR. I am using the Aluminum BOG deathgrip tripod. It's a great tripod and only like $130ish off of Amazon. The rat did look really healthy and was actually scoping the new feeder I had set out. He was on the top part when I hit him in the neck area. He fell back in between the fence and died.

Red part was where he was sitting. Inside the feeder is one of rats favorite foods; sunflower seeds.he was actually slightly covered by that tree hanging down. And one of the reasons I like IR night vision over thermal at the moment besides price, lol, is their eyes glow when they are looking at you. It's very easy to spot their eyes when searching an area. Maybe one day when the price of thermal drops I'll get one.
