FWB 300s Universal

I've been looking for a FWB 300s but never thought I'd find a sweetheart like this one. It's a Gen I built in 1977.

I bought if on another forum yesterday and it had only been listed for an hour . A friend gave me a heads-up that it was on there and I jumped right on it. It'll be a little while before I receive it because I'll get the check out today.

I hope it shoots as good as it looks, but if it doesn't it'll be headed to Joes' house for a rebuild.

Very Very nice pick up on the 300s! I'm almost glad I didn't see it first.

since I don't have that version I would have had to buy it.

I'll shoot it over my Chrony to see how it shoots. I would think at 40 years old it may have had at least one rebuild. The gentleman I bought it from never did a rebuild, but the previous owner may have.

That is a gorgeous gun. A work of art. I'm envious.

I have the mini I got from Joe. Now having played with it a bit I've come to respect and marvel at the technology. Given the reverse twist spring and the sledge recoil dampening , shooting one of these is like shooting a pcp. Some enterprising company should start making similar again. I would love to have such a springer with just 100 fps more for varmint shooting. The one I have is great for target but I would hesitate to try and take a squirrel with it. But it has got me into target. It's really fun.

Congrats to a beutiful gun! Got the same model, but not as nice as yours, but it's a remarkable gun within it's limits
