THat Rohm was a gun I almost hated?! Especially the double action weight and feel. Mine wasn't very precise either. Anyway I just had to vent a bit, lol.....
I want a pcp built just for reliable plinking up to medium distances, maybe if I keep mentioning this someone will see the value of it.
Anybody know what the Browning takedown 22rfr is?? Here is it below.
I want a semiauto slug shooter that looks similar and keeps with this slender and lightweight form factor.
Attributes -
#1 Made mostly of steel and brass and offered in basic to exhibition grade packages. Excellent Build Quality of course!
#2 Air reservoir hidden in the buttstock.
#3 Slugs in a tube fed system under the forstock like many of the old 22rf's stacked end to end with a simple and rugged elevator system like those old 22rf's used to have.
#4 Yep a shouldered barrel and threaded into the receiver.
11 fpe is fine, shot count doesn't need to be huge, just a fun, reliable, and precise plinker made like a rifle should be made.
SURELY already does the trick for me for a match rifle! So does my USFT as far as 20 fpe rifle.
Another idea I have is having a duplicate of the feel of the action of my Anschutz 1827F biathlon rifle which is how a TRUE biathlon action should be! As well as a stick magazine feed system in it for slugs.
