Tuning Is anyone shooting slugs out of their hubens? Hows that going for you?

there is a slug designed for this gun. MP molds sells the mold, some slugs sold as "varmintknockers" on eBay were cast from this mold. The one on the far left in this picture is supposed to be the perfect projectile for that gun.

Hi

I'm still working on my Huben 2020 cal25 I can't make a conjecture . But here is part of my job. I have tested all kinds of slugs in 250251 253254, the best results I obtained were with the 254 and the heavier the better 42gr / 44gr depends on the model, the more weight they are very long and tips are damaged when turning in the magazine, the speed is about determine, but 890fps works quite well

Enkey

Edit : My 2020 Huben barrel in cal 25 has a grooves 0.2519 and twist ratio of 580mm 1: 22,8" and there is another one in 530mm 1: 20,8" that is more forgiving of pellets and slugs and shot them well.

I've had a .22 2020 K1 from about a month now. I've had pretty good success with JSB 33.95 and 25.39 (standard - have MkII on order). I'm trying the VK 28.5 and also recently ordered the AVS .223 in 28grain in cup and dish base and they seem to be doing well, so far, at shorter distances. Both slugs appear to like going in the ~1,000 fps range. Looking to get some 50 yard testing in eventually.

My 2016 .22 shoots the one on the left very well...only thing it like better is PTE slugs. They are a hollow base boat tail that looks like the slug on the left in the pic. Unfortunately they quite making them, wish I'd bought more. I asked Gregor about them a few weeks ago and he wasn't familiar them IIRC. Kelly is working on getting something going.
