More Zoraki mods another moderator.

Well that last moderator I made ended up being a pellet splitter instead. Half the pellet went out of the barrel and the other half stayed in the moderator. Werqed at it for the better part of a day and could not seem to fix it no matter what I did. Such a deal. I am guessing it had something to do with the adapter and the threaded barrel not being just right.

So, I decided to start from scratch and put one on the new .177 Ultra as the longer barrel, with no threads would make it an easier project and I like easy stuff best. ;^) 

Made it like this one that I did on the 600 with a cone shaped plug on the end to strip away the air. I used the Gorilla Super glue on this one so only time will tell how it werqs out. The worst that can happen is the front muzzle piece will fly off so that is not a problem with this low powered of a gun. This thing is, for lack of a better description at the moment, mousefart quiet now.





The scope was at its max on both elevation and right horizontal movement so I turned the mount around and shimmed it slightly at the rear. It's still not centered just right but it is much better than it was so acceptable now anyway. Funny looking contraption but it shoots lights out. Still shooting the tiny groups after the moderator and scope adjustments so it is good to go for awhile now. All I have to do is shoot and shoot and...
