My PP800 Anniversary

I hadn't realized it is a year now.

Today I finally finished making the grip fit my hand.. this is my first carving attempt and I know it could look more finished.

However constructive criticism I am willing to learn from. So, a rotary tool grinding and sanding. Hand sanding. Tru-oil.

A .25 with about 5-8 useable shots. (As others have mentioned) Tweaked to 26 fpe. (Guided by your generous sharing of knowledge)

Not the most reliable performance, but I got to compare dissecting a Crosman compared to another brand.

Hmmm. I'm surprised you got a factory moderator for the .25 caliber. Mie came without. You don't see hardly any of them in .25, and yours is also right side cocking.... Does yours prefer JSB kings as well? They're a lot of fun to shoot. I can get around 15 accurate shots for plinking, granted I have to raise my POA a little as power drops off, but the gun is super accurate and predictable.

I got mine up to 30fpe, but it is detuned to 28 currently. Wearing the grip I cut down off of my .177 bandit. I have recently got a pp800 wood grip I will cut down as well 😄 Just time and patience.

Love mine in .22. I also just celebrated its 1st anniverary.

My mods:

- i got the CO2 package (forgot how it's called) on top for around 100 bucks. Scavenged the synthetic grip with shoulder piece, the longer barrel, the extra magazines, and now have a spare silencer, cocking bolt, etc.

- I put in a Lane regulator for 15+ consistent & very accurate shots. I am even able to do reasonable groups at 50+ yds, in some wind, with a red dot lacking magnification ... I have heard that this barrel is renowned for its accuracy.

This gun is an amazing deal. 🐦

Long_gun the ldc I think was meant for .22. it seemed rather snug, so I widened all the holes. It still muffles a good amount of volume.

I am trying not to put extra $$$ like happened with my 2240/1322. So even tho it needs that reg, I just deal with drastic power drop each fill.

The Benjamin's and FX both do good. However the jsb king heavy mkii would not load without a lot of force. I assume the loading mangled the skirt. So I tried to carefully widen and angle the receiver opening.

Parrotculler it surprised me to know a conversion to co2 was designed. Hunting for it, I am guessing you meant CP2 STOCK since that is what your pic looks like? Or do you mean you bought a complete cp2 gun and used it for parts?

I wanted enough power if I ever take it hunting, so the 25. But what I read sounds like the design was really only meant for the .177 and .22
