I've started a project wherein I'm making a Precision Rifle Shooting (PRS) version of the RAW.
The base is a RAW HM1000x chassis in .22 calibre.
Because these RAW are a bit large I’m going to use a folding adapter which is of the highest quality and doesn’t make the buttstock look skinny (like a single AR tube)
I’m going to use Arca-swiss rail connections to mount it on a tripod and connect a longer rail to get the bipod upfront off the cylinder.
Furthermore the buttstock will be a fully adjustable Magpul PRS gen 3 with a monopod
Here’s some of the goodies, but I’ll have to wait a few months on the Magpul PRS stock I believe.
I've fitted a bottle cover thanks to Woodfield-gcp.co.uk
Because it's a long rifle with almost 48 inch...using a folding adapter reduces it to 36 inch for transport.
I’ve used the MDT folding stock adapter, the fixed to fixed and single lock type.
It’s real great quality!
Result so far:
