Ok, so I prepare my X for slugs and shooting 26 gn over 950 fps so no worries about power.
I got my 600mm slug liner after months of waiting, (bought it in february 2019)
I got around 600 slugs to test 22,5gn 23gn 24 gn, shoot them all
Reg Pressure: 150bar, hst wheel @ max, 5, 4, 3
Slug tested, Vermint Knokers 22,5 and 24gn, Nielsen 23gn
Speeds (average)
VK 22,5gn : 1005 + on Max, 980 on 5, 960 on 4
NSA 23gn: 985 on max, 950 on 5, 935 on 4, 895 on 3
VK 24gn: 975 on max, 950 on 5, 925 on 4, 870 on 3

tight group on 980 fps, did not test on 3 since by experience group is similar to 4

I manage to do better groups on NSA, but with this one, I couldn´t. Best group on 5 (950 fps) 2 slugs went into 1 Hole
Pic 3: VK 24gn wheel at 4, was good, 3 slugs in one hole, I tested again and was a tight group, but hmmm
Results: Not good
I took my pellet liner thinking that I might done something wrong with my settings, and bang right on the spot, did that like 3 times, back and forth...
After talking around I found out something that I think is critical, twist rate.
FX made to public 2 kinds of Liners for Slugs, with different twist rate
Gen1: TR 1:18
Gen 2: TR 1:16
I measure my Slug Liner and to my surprise it was the Gen1 barrel, even when I bought it a month ago, (but that is another story, that I will refer later). 1:16 liners are of course an improvement to 1:18 and I believe what we see in South Africa (Matt D and AirHunters) are 1:16 liners, and I know from Bob_o videos and post that he has the Gen2 1:16
Anyway, my conclusion on 1:18 Slug liner 600 mm 0,22 cal at 40 meters (44 yards) is that is inconsistent, at certain speed it start to group, but I could not manage to do a decent 5 shoot group on any speed and setting, and with that I mean MOA groups at 44 yards, in one group I manage to stack 3 slugs in the same hole, in other 2, but that is about it. I did try 75 meters (83 yards) but it was not worth it, same results. 1:18 liner are too speed dependable (need a precise speed) and need much power to get it make smaller groups. I believe all that is no news to FX or vendors and that is why there is a GEN 2 slug liners with 1:16 twist rate. The thing is NO ONE tell you that! (BTW I do not blame FX at all! nor the vendor, I should be better inform before buying, is my fault mostly) Now I have to wait availability and spend another 120 bucks for a liner that works can actually works. It might be the Slugs? Might be, but seen others results with the 1:16 liner with the slugs I test, I think is not
Unless someone advise me otherwise, I will stop all test on slugs until I get the 1:16 twist rate, since is just a waist of Slugs, for me those results are not acceptable at that distance.

So a world of caution, before getting a Slug Liner, be sure that you know the twist rate of the liner you are getting!
