I JUST tried my untested suggestion of making my Android phone a 'Mobile Hotspot' and then connected a doorbell camera to it. I am surprised that it actually works and I always ask the question (jokingly) "why wouldn't it work."
Just needed the name of the Android network and password, the camera fired up and sent me motion detection alerts and I can take video of rat shots. Just means I am not limited by Wifi from home and can use 'Mobile Data' as a connection.
Not a solution here at home but at a dairy when you want to capture DRT shots it will work. No I don't YET have an ATN scope.
