Up and running shoebox f8 compressor

Ive read enough about Chinese compressors that I have absolutely no interest in them.
i think you get a years warranty with them then good luck.
I have 10 full rebuild kits I can use and it's easy to do plus it's USA made and parts will be no problem if needed in future.
I will one day go neck deep in a full size compressor like Bauer but for now this is the trick.
I'm not bashing any compressor so don't take it that way I'm just not gonna go that route.

The f8 went from 3800 psi to 4500psi in about an hour on a 88 cf airpack bottle.

Topped off a 2nd 88cf tank today and I'm so impressed with the shoebox.i now have 2 full 88cf tanks I filled at home saving me 2 hours round trip plus fuel plus return trip week later to pick up my tanks so essentially saving me 4 hours driving, fuel and air fill cost.Sweet

I torn down my water separator and moisturer filters after filling today and found absolutely no evidence of any water/moisturer anywhere.
Remember it all passes through a tsunami,2 m60s a descciant filter and a final water separator particle filter.
I think my DeWalt 200 psi first stage compressor drops most of the water out way before it goes through any of my filters and having 75 foot of compressor hose ran in 3 loops from the floor to the ceiling also helps.
I should have done this long time ago.

Here's my break down cost.
I traded for the new f8 and it's not made anymore so I'm not really sure about a price.

DeWalt compressor 249$ shipped
Tsunami water separator 135$ shipped
2 m60s moisture filters 120$ shipped
Desiccant dryer say 100$ I forget.
Air hose and some fittings 50$
small particle filter 20$

So about 670$ in the moisture removal system.
i did go Overkill on it and you could probably do a similar but smaller system for about half.
i would say you could do a shoebox max with a moisture removal system for about 1000$.
The way my system is set up I'm finding absolutely no evidence of any water anywhere.
I have now filled up 2 paintball tanks from empty to full and drained them.I looked inside the tanks after removing the regulators and found no evidence of any water/moisture.

Topped off my 2 88 cf airpacks today then again checked all my filters for any moisture/water and I found not a single drop of moisture in anything.

Having your own air supply really has changed some things for me.I now shoot more ,no more running to dive shop for air which is so sweet by the way.
I don't mind buying the more expensive jsb pellets over the crossman now.Im also considering a higher fill pressure gun since I can easily pump 4500 psi now.
I just might have to purchase 2 guns this year.

10/9/17 update
filled 2 88cf tanks today from about 3500psi to 4500 psi in give or take 5 hours.
I have emailed Tom with a few questions here and there and he always responds in a very timely manner .
The shoebox is the way to go for customer service and a very good product that's made in the good ole USA.
The ability to provide your own air source is golden.
