Wika Gauge Repair?

So went to fill a gun today and quickly realized that the needle on the 2.5" Wika gauge on my SCBA fill whip wasn't moving (good thing I realized it quickly). Upon closer look, it appears the needle stem is quite cocked over to one side and presumably stuck or otherwise bound up...no idea how or why this happened. Pic attached, and you can kind of see what I'm talking about.

I'm a handy person with lots of tools, so are gauges such as this generally serviceable, or should I not even waste my time trying to disassemble/reassemble it for a repair, especially since it is glycerin filled? Any thoughts or suggestions?

And I did already try percussive maintenance a few times. 😄

Yup maximum FUBAR (POST TINKERING) broken is just as good as broken. Broken is broken.

Hold on... Don't smash it with a hammer just yet...

DONT CUT ANYTHING!!! One video shows cutting the rubber plug don't cut it. Pry it out to vent it instead then reinstall.

Probably only needs BURPING... Vent the rubber or plastic plug first then try using it and if still no go then sit down time for class!

Scroll down to Oct.12 at 1:43am the videos I posted to get a general idea what makes them work.
