Hatsan  Hatsan 125 5,5mm vortex spring

In the new version of Hatsan 125, it says that the maximum velocity is achieved at 145 bars. Is there anyone here who has a Hatsan from this series and knows at what pressure the airgun shoots energetically but safely? I've seen videos where they pump the Hatsan 125 to over 150 bars. But really, won't that be too much? Could it damage the airgun?

Bought acreage

I applaud your generosity. First things first, as the landowner you want to check your liability by letting people hunt on your property. Even if you provide a waiver, that may not be enough protection. I truly hope if works out for you.
Congrats on the acreage, I envy you!
That's exactly what I was going to post. I have 40 acres of lightly wooded land with a 100 yard shooting range. I would love to open it up to fellow air gunners to shoot but the liability risks are too much. Heck, the only people we let shoot there are a couple of close friends and only 2 of our 4 children.

What do you think of this new AEA M50 Pistol

I got my gun this week and put all the add ons yesterday. I also ordered a 10'' barrel as well. So far I have only set it up with the 5" barrel. I got the Texoma fixed stock adapter with the gun so I installed that and a sb tactical folding adapter and minimalist stock. Then I put two of the Bin Tac style pic rail bottle clamps on the tiny bottle and spaced them out to allow a Monstrum tactical fore end grip light to be attached. The top side sports a 1" high offset pic adapter running most of the length of the barrel and a three slot riser on the rear of the breech. I ended going with a cheap Amazon red dot and then I also installed a set of fixed fiber sights that look like they are going to work perfectly with the high riser mount the red dot sports. I have to change the light color from fde to flat black today before I post any pics. I have the same style pic rail for a ten inch barrel set up. But so far I really like the feel of it in extreme SBR form.

What is your FAVORITE Air Rifle?

At Northeast Airguns we carry a variety of brands including:
As we look back at which air rifle we sold the most over 2023, it was the FX Impact M3 Air Rifle.
If you're curious as to why, we put together a little video over on YouTube.

But we want to hear from you.
What is your FAVORITE Air Rifle and why?

My favorites are the AEA Challenger 357 Big Bore Standard for its power, delivering 340 FPE, and accuracy at a price point of $600, unmatched in its class. The 308 Texan is also a favorite for the same reasons; they are exceptional hunting PCPs with a simple design that makes them very easy to maintain.

Hatsan  New Mod 95 Vortex

Picked up my first wood stock Air rifle. 149.00 with scope. Brand new, not refurbished .I’m very pleased with the quality. Even a brass trigger. It’s also my first 22 pellet gun.

I think the stock is quite nice.

I like my 95 Vortex .22 cal as well, hard to believe Hatsan can sell this for $149 w/scope. The stock on mine might even be a little nicer compared to yours, so no complaints there as well. Re the brass trigger, it might be brass plated pot metal at best, but it does work well after tweaking the trigger adjustments a tad. Unfortunately, the original Vortex ram in mine gave out fairly quickly, but Hatsan "eventually" took good care of me and sent me a new ram which I installed. I did have some "issues" with the install but she is shooting quite well now. Using the JSB 15.89's, she's spitting them out at about 745 fps/19.6 ft lbs. So decent power for backyard pesting, my main use of the rifle. The Quattro trigger has a very decent break now, and accuracy with the JSBs is pretty good as well. Very happy with it. The Optima 3x9 scope is still "alive" so far, but really not that many pellets fired as of yet. I did a little "backyard" parallax adjustment on the Optima, it's very clear now at airgun ranges. We will see how long the scope survives, will put a "better" scope on it when the inevitable happens with the Optima. For now, I'm just gonna keep using it as is.

RAW Rapid  Deciding between a DonnyFL Koi and Sumo on my .25 RAW

I tried out the Koi today on my RAW 25cal and it def made a difference. It may not be backyard quiet, but it tamed it down nicely. According to my DB app on my phone there was a 6db reduction with the Koi. I noticed a slight POI shift but it did not change my group sizes, so I am happy.

Hatsan  Hatsan 125 5,5mm vortex spring

The Vortex rams I've tinkered with have all said Max pressure 150 Bar and not to fill them over that. I've never owned the bigger 125 or 135, but at least in the Model 95's and 87QE's I've had, they were all set right around 125 Bar, so just a wild guess on my part but to get the higher power of the bit bigger rifles, I'd say something like 135 Bar?
Also have to remember at least on the 125, the stock is synthetic and is going to take some abuse from the extra pressure required to cock the rifle.16962-Vortex-ram-body.jpg
