I am selling my 1st airgun love. Gathering funds towards a long strike rattler, so not interested in any trades. I also have a wood stock 2021 k1 in .25 which I like better. There is nothing wrong with this k1.
It has a few upgrades. It has the new version of the main tank pressure guage, it originally had none. It has the newer version of the detent click wheel for the power adjusting that is much smoother and crisper than the original. It has a bushing in the shroud that the original lacked which keeps lead dust from escaping. Some of the baffles have been replaced. The star screw threads on the block had stripped, I sent it to Kelly and a professional machinist repaired it, but the new screw is not the same as the original, although you wouldn't be able to tell by looking at it. It holds air perfectly. The barrel has been polished. This did not seem to help with accuracy but it did help with velocity consistency, and should help with making the barrel lead more slowly. It has a swivel stud attached that a bipod can attach to. It's my only rifle with such a setup, the bipod comes with the gun. (I'll have to get the bipod out of storage, forgot it in there, so no pics of it at the moment, will add one if the rifle hasn't sold by the next time I go to my unit) the swivel stud can be removed if you want, although this will require taking the stock off. it also comes with a pretty decent soft case. I just replaced the rear spring and 2 o rings. Kelly had put one of the newer rubber rings like the gk1s have on the spring but the gun didn't seem to like it, it had been jamming and the spring got a slight bend in it, so I just put in a new one and the original 2 o ring configuration with new o rings. These wear out every few thousand rounds and need to be replaced. If the gun starts jamming slugs in between the mag and barrel when shooting, that's how you know the o rings around the spring need changing. Included are 4 extras, and the gk1 style rubber ring if you want to give it a go. I have the original box, manual, and the papers showing the work Kelly has done to it. Note that subsequent iterations of this rifle have slight or large differences in components including the barrel. Scope not included, just had not taken it off yet for pic.
It also comes with 1197 (63 magazines worth) of the corbin slugs I made for it. Theyre 41 grains, .2225 diameter, flat base, and really quite satisfying to load. This gun is capable of 80+ FPE when using them, I normally shot them around 925 fps, the reg set to around 19mpa, and the power wheel 10 clicks down from full open. (Kelly is buying my swage die or I'd be offering it with the gun) I used to have the huben swage die, but they weren't made well, it was slow to use and even being careful, broke after just a few thousand rounds made. However, I still have 456 (24 magazines) of those that will also be included. They're roughly 36.6 grains. that's more than 1500 slugs total. I'm keeping the tins though, the slugs will come in bags, I'll make sure to pad around them so none deform.
