MY next project is a big bore pcp which is capable of long distance target shooting of 600 to 1000 yards.

I'm thinking in the line of a Texan .457. I looking for a newer Texan model which the stock barrel and valve has been upgraded.
Perhaps a Doug Nobel or African Ordinance upgrades. A bonus would include a Mad Dog stock.

I'm already shooting a Texan .257 LSS and will bypass the .308 Texan.

This 54 has been tuned by John Thomas in PA. Cocking is smooth and is easier to cock than a stock 54. The trigger has also been tuned; it’s one of the best triggers I’ve had. It’s putting out 22 fpe. Shoots many pellets accurately but is extremely accurate with jsb 18.1 gr. Functions perfectly but cosmetically has some pressure marks on the stock and a small mark on the underside of the barrel (shown in pics). Plastic trigger guard has been upgraded to a metal one.

I have an FX Impact / Maverick / Crown 0.25 600mm Superior (1:24 twist rate) pellet liner that I am looking to sell or trade. This liner was previously in my M3 and a great shooter so I held onto it after I switched over to the same setup in a 500mm Compact configuration. I won't be going back to the 600mm Standard setup so this excellent liner can go to a new home. Liner currently has three orings installed, bracketed by electrical tape on each side to prevent the orings from sliding around when installing or removing it from the barrel; I've also found that this works just as well as installing a carbon fiber sleeve for consistency & harmonics.

Items I'm currently open to trading for include:

• 0.22 JSB or FX 18.13g pellets
• 0.22 or 0.25 JSB Hades pellets

If you'd like to purchase the 600mm liner outright, it's $85 $75 shipped.
