To cock you have to release the barrel from the “stirrup” type latch. There is a section of machine turning on the barrel which is gripped in the left hand whilst the right thumb pushes in the release latch rearward and the barrel can now be moved upwards.


The piston is now completely compressed and a pellet can be popped into the breech end of the barrel which is then returned to battery.You can un-cock by holding the barrel fully open, and under control, release the trigger and slowly decompress the spring - watch fingers your fingers.


There are simple open sights, a shallow fore sight which is nothing more than a raised notch with the rear sight being a leaf blade with square notch that can be adjusted for height and windage via two large securing screws.


The trigger is a smooth finished black metal curved trigger blade that combined with the very nice and comfortable hand grips with thumb rest allows a good constant trigger pull. Pull weight is adjusted by varying the spring tension on the return spring from 3-5 lbs, as such this model broke at 4.25lbs so nice and safe. Adjustment is made via a hole in the trigger guard once the trigger is cocked, turn the adjustment clockwise to increase trigger pull and anti clockwise to lighten it.


The safety is a manual affair and cannot be operated if the pistol is not cocked. When done so the large toggle safety lever sited on the left hand side in front of the thumb rest is pushed upward to engage to conceal the visiblered dot for fire mode.

It’s in very clean condition with only the light marks shown in the picture. It has been holding air since I bought it. It comes with two barrels – a .20 and a .22 which are easy to swap out. The Sound Loc is not included. It’s the quick release model and I’ll remove the tank to help with shipping. I'm selling my aea bullpup. 30 with 32" barrel. I got this shooting 3 mags per fill which 23 shots are on the reg from 4000 to 2600 psi and fps range for 48gr is 910 thru 890. I added a regulator, aftermarket bolt handle, shorten hammer spring by half a coil, picitinny barrel band, and airgun capital moderator.
This gun is very accurate now even at 100 yards 2-4" groups and im still newer to shooting. It's not that hard to cock anymore with large bolt handle and I clipped half a coil off hammer spring(polished it so no sharp edge), which also helped with fps spread. When filled to 4100-4300psi it will still send 48gr 1050fps with reg. If reg is removed almost 1200 fps so without regulator its very close to factory full power of 1240 fps.
I finally got this gun shooting the way it should of so now time to sell and move onto the next project gun.
Airgun is in excellent condition, no scratches, been kept in temp and humidity controlled room. Ive never had an air leak or any issue with the 4 dif aea challengers ive had.
I have orginal box, manual, 2 mags, fill probe, tin of 100 cheap airboss pellets and half a tin of griffin 60-65gr slugs as well.
