Mike has gotten me out with his Airguns a few times and have really been enjoying it (WAY more than golf, not sure what it is with Doctors and golf but anyways). He has gotten our son involved as well and he is hooked so has really turned into a family activity (he is still working on our teen daughters but has learned a trip to Sephora with his credit card buys him some interest from them so it is a work in progress).

Long story short I would like to find a gun for me that I am comfortable with and I think Mike is getting tired of trying to translate so he told me to post this for myself so here goes.

I like the long guns he has especially the RAW brand but and this is a bit embarrassing the noise of those is just a bit much for me since apparently you can’t use the piece that threads on the end to make them quieter. This is for shooting from a bench at a target and I think it is 50 or 100 yards away.

Anyways what I am wanting to find is a RAW that is in .30 caliber that maybe is not as loud or has the part on the end that makes it better or a different brand that has the same style.

I am not sure if it has to be the .30 since I know a lot of the others we use are .22 so maybe that is fine also.

Anyways maybe you guys can help me get something that will be better for me (and that I can now tell Mike he can’t touch).

Bought Aug 16th 2023 from Pyramyd Air, gun has had maybe a tin and a half of pellet shot thru it..gun is very accurate as in if you can shoot it can clean the know your limits target at 62yds..at 32 yds its one ragged hole with FX 25.4 gr pellets. selling my HW97 .20 Caliber. comes with 2 stocks. the one that is on it came with a slight crack in it. the 2nd one is included in the sale and will not part it unless the buyer does not want it. the scope riglngs are not included (need them for another gun) but the scope can be purchased for an extra $50. the HW97 plus the 2 stocks is priced at $800. it has the vortex sub 12 kit installed but i will include the original spring if you want. $620 for just the HW97 with your choice of stock. shipping will depend on where its being shipped to. pm if you want more pictures. i would also consider a pcp of equal value as a trade.

Nice almost never used HW97 in .22 with 6-24 Hawke airmax scope. Has spent most of its life hanging on the wall and looking pretty. It likes GTO 11.75 no lead pellets and will shoot a .25 group at 50 yards with them. Regular lead pellets vary, with Hades a good choice as are the H and N FTT in 5.54 head size.

Looking to sell my Zulus. I've used it 3-4 times. It's a great little piece of technology but maybe too much for my needs. The zoom for me is too tight for my close range shooting I tried it in today. Likely going back to a 2-12 scope. It's basically new. Has 2 batteries, charger and SD card. If you missed it last week, here it is. Just bought from a member here on AGN. Just received it today 7/27. It was an impulse buy but decided that I like my P-Rod as a carbine with the AR stock. Don’t see these very often. In great shape. Already has a modified grip/trigger assembly so you don’t have to worry about messing yours up, should you decide to reconfigure back to original. The only thing needed is the brass fitting to extend the gauge for trigger linkage clearance. See pic below. If yours is regulated with the gauge delete, it’s not needed. I have a Hill MK4 pump with absorber kit. It was not working well and I have been using a scuba tank for a couple years. I ordered a rebuild kit and repaired the pump today and it works great. Dri pak was replaced today and the pump has only been used to test. It pumped my pistol up to 3k in about 3 min pumping slowly.
