I just recently purchased a RTI Priest 2 performance in .177 from another member here on the forum, I spent some time with it yesterday and came away with 1 issue. There's not much adjustment in the FPS from the hammer spring adjuster. Its alway shooting hot! Even though I got this gun to try out some slugs I would still like to tune it and shoot pellets if needed. I even removed the extra weight that comes with the performance pkg but still didn't make much difference. To see any drop in FPS I need to have the adjuster screw backed out so much that its sticking way out of the butt pad and is so loose that it can easily be moved with just shouldering the rifle. I figured Id bump the reg up to 150bar to help counter the hammer strike. It did somewhat work but just the slightest turn on the hammer screw adjuster resulted in a high jump in fps. Maybe its the .177 cal not sure? Has anyone tried a lighter spring and if so do you have dimensions of it. I will be reaching out to AOA to see what they recommend. I also pulled the spring and will be searching my local hardware store for a similar size spring I can do some testing with...

Hello, I have up for grabs my FX Crown. It has been a great rifle and I originally bought it for competition shooting. It has the 380mm barrel and the 700mm barrel with the newest style transfer ports. 


I have recently moved to an area that is mostly desert and I need a rifle that has a folding AR stock so I can shoot with a backpack and walk around with! So I’d like to either trade or sell the Crown to get something that better suits my needs at the moment. 


The Crown is a great rifle and it is in perfect shape, no damage or flaws. It is currently tuned to shoot 26gr hades at 910fps with the 380mm barrel and is very accurate and consistent out to 100 yards. I am looking for a rifle for my daughter to practice with and/or use in 10m para-shooting (disabled) competition. She shoots in SH2 classification and has earned silver at the junior nationals with a borrowed gun, so she knows how to shoot! She learned to shoot with hunting rifles and she can practice all day long with plinkers, but she needs to make the move to something that is closer to a competition rifle for practice, or just get a competition-ready rifle. We don't have a very big budget for this equipment, so I am asking for less than market pricing on a competition level rifle or an inexpensive non-competition trainer. I have heard of competition rifle leasing, and we would consider that, but I have not found that option on line. I can send you information about her to show that she has a legitimate disability and to know that you would be supporting a good person. This must be a PCP rifle due to her disability, and must have diopter competition-type sights. I'm also looking for an SH2 support (if you don't know what that is, then you don't have one). John

I have a new in box, never mounted Sightron SIII 10-50x60 Field Target with illuminated Mil-Hash reticle. The turrets are also in Mil and exposed with a zero stop. The parallax on this model goes from 10-300 yards for extremely good range finding. It comes with all the factory accessories including the flip up scope caps, rubber eye boot and billet aluminum side wheel. The part number on the scope is 25179. I had purchased this late last year with plans to shoot open class PCP field target. Unfortunately my bad back has gotten worse and I will need to shoot Hunter class instead. The scope is marked at 16x power if you want to use it for Hunter class but it’s almost as long as my Taipan Vet and would look a little out of place on top of it. I was hoping to trade it for a nice PCP, I would really like a .177 Red Wolf and will add cash on my end. It’s probably going to be difficult finding one so I will consider all trades, cash either way if needed. I’m located in East Tennessee and plan to shoot the Good Ole Boys Field Target matches every month in Pulaski, TN and could meet anywhere in between for a face to face transaction but will ship it as well. Please no scope trades, I probably have 20 scopes I’m currently not using and don’t want to add another scope to my museum. I would also sell it if I can’t work out a trade. It's never leaked, never had any mechanical issues, feeds pellets and slugs, it is very accurate and is set right now to shoot 49gr round nosed slugs at 70fpe. The regulator is simple to adjust, just take off the degassed air tube and pop it out, adjust and reassemble. The air tube can be removed from the gun without degassing if you like and you only need to remove one screw (the buttstock) to access it.

It has a real wood stock, a side lever cocking arm (smooooth) and a decent trigger set to about #4. No dings, no rust, holds air perfectly, it has set at 20MPa for two weeks with no drop. Comes with 1 mag, O-rings, probe and a sample of pellets and slugs it likes in it's original box.
