Athlon Optics, Talos BTR 4-14x44, First Focal Plane, Milliradian Riflescope, APLR2 Illuminated Reticle (xmas tree), Side Focus, Zero Stop, Mint Condition.Hash marks of the reticle are placed in .2 Mil. graduations in both the verticle as well as horizontal planes. Comes with Butler Creek scope caps for both the occular and objective lens’(not shown). Glass has no scratches, scope operates perfectly & has been well taken care of since day one. Very clean no dust anywhere. Turrets are audible and crisp. Athlon scopes have a lifetime warranty regardless if you are the original owner or not & their customer service is top shelf. These type of reticles shine at distance, outside of point blank range, due to their xmas tree reticles allowing, quick, surgically placed, followup shots in less than ideal conditions.

It will do everthing/accomplish anything a top tier scope of this magnification range can do less the hefty price tag of top tier glass. If you have never tried a FFP with a tree ret. this one is a good choice & an oppprtunity to get your feet wet with relatively little out of pocket expense. Do I feel it is a better choice than Vortex Diamondback? - A similar scope of comparative price. For my needs, surgically placed shots, yes most definately without exception.
