Here’s the deal, and I think it’s a pretty good one. I bought this L2 exactly 1 year ago. It’s been very good to me.



This is a .22 Leshiy 2 with a 350mm barrel and shroud. It is the pre-REPR (before the newly released externally adjustable regulator) version. I paid $2275 for it. A REPR upgraded tube with regulator with cost you $275. I’ll take $275 off so you can upgrade, plus an additional $300 off because it is used (barely). So I’m asking $1700 in OEM configuration. *Scope and mounts shown are not included.







I took the barrel through a multi-step polishing process. It shoots JSB 18g pellets very well at 900 FPS, and surprisingly it likes slugs too. The fragmented vinyl camo wrap can easily be removed if it doesn’t tickle your fancy.

Bought this about 2 weeks ago from Tom at Tomcat airguns. 

Truly an awesome airgun scope! The turret system is awesome. Its geared for a 3 to 1 rotation with the option of swapping out rings for different tunes or projectiles. 

I do a lot of bench shooting at 100 yards and find that 18x isn't quite sufficient for that. 

But for a hunting scope I really dont think it could be beat. It goes down all the way to 3x which i found to be really nice for hunting or quick shooting at close distances. 

The gun will come with 3 extra turret rings and the scope. 

I dont have the original box or a sunshade.

Allen machined a Daystate rifle barrel to fit, fabricated the scope base, and confirmed the power is souped up to the highest reasonable level on this beautiful Tau MK 08 regulated side-lever ten-meter pistol. Here's the chronograph testing- 

8.4 grain JSB Exact, 3300 PSI charge, 48 shot power-band- Low= 670, Hi= 687, ES= 17, SD= 1.7, Avg= 678 FPS/8.6 Foot Pounds.

My best accuracy-testing session of five consecutive five-shot groups at the field target maximum range of 35 yards produced an average of .40" center-to-center with 8.4 grain JSBs (the best five-shot group measured just .17" c-t-c). Here's a 25 yard five-shot group that measured .16" c-t-c. 

 

Unlike other ten-meter pistols, the Tau's side-lever mechanism allows for very low mounting of a scope (as I prefer). I won the only pistol FT match I contested with this lovely thing, and my squad-mate (Leo Duran) took second place even though he'd never shot the gun.

It comes with the AZ scope base, a foster fitted fill adapter, original front and rear sights (though the front sight won't fit the fat Daystate barrel), and two chamber tubes that have pressure gauges on the muzzle end. One chamber tube holds air indefinitely. The other tube leaks down over the course of weeks, but is otherwise fine and functional. I'll keep the scope and rings pictured.



The barrel has some faint cosmetic mottling, but otherwise the gun is pristine, functionally perfect, and shoots like a house a'fire!
