I took this one with my Prod this morning. It is shooting copper plated H&N FTT pellets about 750 fps at the muzzle. The squirrel was only about 10 yards away so I like the low scope of the Prod. It dropped immediately but when I picked it up and saw the guts hanging out I got a little worried about my placement. The pelleted entered behind the diaphragm but went forward stopping under the skin on top of the off side shoulder. It broke the shoulder on the way past. So right through the lungs and may have hit the heart. Good shot, not a lousy gut shot.

Howdy AGN, I have a new Alpha Wolf Safari FAC in .22 23in barrel that is acting strange.

First issue: Advanced Shot Settings, every time when the rifle times out AKA powers off and then back on the initial shot upon powering on is nearly 50 FPS slower just like an FX with the reg creep issues. The reg is set to 110 bar.

Second issue: Factory Shot Settings, after setting the speed and shooting at least 10 consecutive shots that are within 4FPS, after the rifle times out AKA powers off and then turned back on the computer appears to go through the velocity hunting process as if a different speed was set. It does not matter if the regulator is set to the recommended setting 140 bar or at 110 bar.

I did verify the Wolf's chronograph is reading the correct velocities against my Caldwell and FX chronographs and they are all within 2FPS.

I have a programming pod on its way in hopes a re-flash of the software and looking at the tables to see what is going on may help.

This is certainly disappointing :-(

Any advice from you Delta/Alpha Wolf gurus would be appreciated.

Finally got my handguard from Inspirecraftsandhobbies, needed it to fit a redlight on my Notos so I can shoot creepy crawly stuff in the backyard at night...and seems I have another skunk that's been visiting smelling up the place so I'm ready now. Love the handguard, perfect fit and sturdy.

Also got a new scope for it, a CVLIFE EagleFeather 4-16X44 Side Focus Parallax. I have an old CVlife scope which was decent for what it is but this thing is a huge improvement...for the money and for my backyard plinking it's perfect. Was surprised at the clarity, and keeping zero. I messed around with the windage and elevation for a bit and came right back to zero no issues.

Looking through the scope is much sharper and clear than the video shows, one reason was my light was dying but also for night filming it is recording in 15fps and lower resolution, gotta tweak it a bit yet and find out what works best.

Then I got an mlok flashlight mount and put an old bipod on it and good to go.

My kids got me the compressor for father's day. Today when I was filling my rifle it just stalled and shut off before a complete fill. It just blacked out the temperature lights went dark. I unplugged the unit and waited for a while, fired the unit back up and the same thing occurred. Any ideas? How can I contact Vevor and what compressor would you recommend. I'm new to the pcp world, I want a decent compressor, but being a disabled vet I'm on a strict budget. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

I held out on the M3 because I heard the stories of it being a leaker. They announced the M4 and I figured I could finally try it! Bought this thing from Tony in November and it was leaking out of the box! Sent it out to get worked on and got it back tonight. At this point, I just plain out don’t want it. I did scratch it trying to remove the pressure gauge as I was trying to fix the leak myself that’s why I lowered the price.

I acquired an .30 FX Bobcat MK2 that has an air leak and I don't see how to seal it. So I figure one of you FXperts will point me in the correct direction. Under the trigger assembly are two bolts. A 13mm and a 10mm. Next to the 13mm is a small hole. It appears the leak is coming from there. But I do not see anything the would allow me to seal it. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Since this guy was a pistol when it was born, I’m posting in the pistol section…

My .22 GK1 - Version 1 #67 has shot >30,000 GTOs. It has my “active shroud” mod but everything else has been stock and it’s been used exclusively as a pistol. I’ve changed one Oring but aside from that it’s been a hiccup and jam-free delight. Just a barrel clean every couple tins and it’s just as accurate as when it arrived.

However, the time had come for a change, and I was even considering selling it. But after picking up a 3DP stock from Daniel in Bulgaria, I’m enjoying it again. The stock is nicely printed and a great fit to the gun and my body, which is that of Mr Average. I don’t care for any folding capability.

Popped on a 12X Optimax scope and tuned it to shoot the AVS 22grain .223 slugs that I’ve had lying around for some time. I tested a range of slugs over a year ago and found them to be the best of the bunch. I click em in via the stock gate with no “seating” and they stay put at the rear of the mag and shoot very well. The power adjustment is set to shoot them at 900fps and I get a tight string at 890-905fps (40fpe) between 270 and 190 bar, which is 15 shots. The target in the pic below is 8 shots at 70y. My Vet2 tactical sets a high bar for slug shooting but this is pretty good for a semi auto “pistol”

I ordered a part from K&L a month ago. They charged my card instantly, but it still hasn’t shipped. I started contacting them about two weeks ago to make sure my order didn’t fall off the radar. Still no replies to three emails and a couple voicemails. Has anyone else received anything from them recently? I’m worried they went out of business. I thought about going through my bank for a charge back, but I don’t want to do that if they are going to send my order eventually.

Does ARH (Maccari) produce full tune kits for Pro Sport/TX200 MKIII anymore? Don't see any on his site and would like to tune my new rifles down to the 12fpe range with his quality parts. I've read reviews of TinBum and Vortek and I'd like to go with ARH parts if possible. Thanks for any help. .177 cal

Likely the last addition for the year but not a bad way to close things out. Never owned a Venom until a few weeks ago, now I have a pair of them.

I am amazed at how many shooters of airguns are going for first focal plane scopes. The reticle gets very small on low magnification and I am guessing most will use the higher magnification rather than look at a small reticle. This may make sense if you are shooting a powder burning rifle at extreme distances but an air rifle at 100 yards or less? Also find it interesting that many want big fat 34mm tube scopes. Large tube diameter indeed gives more cross hair adjustment but do air gunners need that many clicks of adjustment? Then how about magnification? Does it make much sense to have 24x magnification under 100 yards? I shoot prairie dogs at 300 plus yards at about 16x BTW. Lastly, so many seem to want a 50mm or even 56mm objective lens. True you gather more light but from a practical point it matters very little. Also true you get a wider field of view but the best way to get that is to zoom out a little. My take is many shooters are caught up in marketing hype. I am an expert in human vision and practice optometry as well as enjoy shooting. Comments?

Hey guys I come here seeking guidance on a new venture. Im an avid hunter for 25 years and am looking to fill the gap of the year with some small game hunting with an air rifle. Squirrels, rabbit and coon control would be my main uses.

I live in NJ and our fun laws do not allow any "noise dampening devices". I usually am of the opinion of buy once cry once but the upper tier of PCP's has me questioning that. With all the regulated or not regulated rifles, pump or hand pump I'm a little apprehensive. If you were to buy a starter that you could grow into what would you buy and why. Im set on a .22 but besides that I am all ears to the veterans of the sport. Thank you for your time and information.

I have paid for two orders that I was supposed to receive in November. I can’t get any response from email. The phone is no longer working as well as the website. I paid them a lot of money. Did i just get scammed? What is going on?

So my compressor stopped working properly.. 5-months old. It will fill but very slowly and then when I turn it off it depressurizes, so I think there is a leak somewhere and I have this brown residue shooting out of the bleed valve.

Any clue? I contacted Vevor for warranty, and initially they wanted me to fix, then I got escalating $$ offers and finally after insisting I want a replacement they said out of stock and just refunded me. Very strange company.

So now I have this compressor, and my money back so I can take apart and fiddle... I have moved onto using Nitrogen so compressor here just for occasional fills so it being down is no big deal.

I get tired of stacking shims under rear bags, stacking smaller rear bags on larger rear bags to get the "right height", squeezing rear bags to adjust height, and when the bag/s settle, sometimes redoing it all again. I can't believe what a hassle it's been over the years to get a rear bag settled "just right" when in changing scenarios. Every gun chassis or stock of mine has different dimensions, have 4 different bipods, so it seems most of the time "things" could definitely be better!

This is of course when I'm not going into full benchrest mode by using my PQP one piece, or Farley joy stick.

Not very expensive either.
