Accessories  SOLD Warren Edwards Walnut Stock for Walther LGU

I have a Warren Edwards Walnut FT stock for the Walther LGU. The stock is great but I am selling it because I feel like it doesn't fit my trigger hand very well. The stock is in great condition, but I did slightly widen (poorly) the spot for the cocking lever as I noticed the fit was very close to the cocking lever. This is noted in one of the pictures. I am asking for $650 shipped to you. Only CONUS and payments will be on PayPal FF. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

HW/Weihrauch  They were naked.

Constantly, I view the posts and always admire the muzzle ends. Mine just plain, to me, were dreadful, I literally hated them. Naked, not what you were thinking. Filthy minds.
I mentioned to my wife that I was going to get a lathe. She says “ya right, you have time for something else”.
Here they were. Plain Jane’s.)
IMG_7456.jpeg
Reading this forum I found out SpiralGroove made them. I contacted Kirk after I realized how much warmer they will be this winter jacking the rifle. I shoot in temps. down to 0F. if no wind which can be most evenings. I shoot a lot with the lites at nite in the winter, the snow reflects the light..Here’s the fix.
IMG_7457.jpeg
Kirk was most helpful, and did an awesome job. Meticulously packed for safe shipping. In Canada it’s illegal to own a moderator. This is Hollywood for me. Here’s a D350 above and a D34 below. Nite and day diff.
IMG_7459.jpeg
I’m stoked about the improvement. Did my 98’s as well.

Thanks again to Kirk. Crow

FX  New .25 FX King

I took delivery of a new .25 FX King last week from UTAH Airguns. The purchase experience was fine though I was surprised when all of my discussions and items purchased centered around shooting 37 grain ZAN and 40 Grain heavy slugs and it arrived tested for 33.95 gr pellets with the reg set at only 120 BAR. Obviously, too low for the heavier slugs. But to their credit, I received good technical support and have it throwing the ZANs now around 970 and the Heavy Slug 40 grains around 940.

The rifle arrived in perfect condition - no leaks as reported by others. I already own a Panthera so not too many surprises were encountered. There is not a dedicated manual for the King included, it features the Panthera manual and there are some significant differences. For example, you can't see the regulator adjustment the way the stock is designed. One has to remove the trigger guard and look very closely and you can find it, but it isn't easily apparent.

It is beautiful in every regard. The Donny FL moderator fit perfectly as did the Hawke 6-24x56 Sidewinder in the Eagle Vision adjustable mounts. I mounted an Accu-Tac Bipod on the provided bottle clamp - works great, as well as the Eagle Vision level to avoid canting.

Initial testing of the 37 gr ZAN .250, the 40 gr H&N Heavy Slugs in both .249 and .250 produced 10 shot groups of 1.25 to 1.75 inches at 84 yards. I know it can do much better based upon my .22 Panthera experience but I ran out of time. I have ordered ZAN 35 Gr, ZAN 33 Gr., JSB Match Diablo Knockouts in 33.48 Gr, Patriot Javelins in 36 Gr, and NSA 33.5 and 34.9 Gr slugs to try as well, looking for that best performing combination, knowing that I many need to do some velocity adjustments as well.

Expect me to report back with some better technical data once I get further along with testing and tuning activities

Is anyone else uncomfortable with this

So with proper sized slugs (lets say 1/1000 under what you get when you slug your barrel) it seems that the cocking lever becomes very difficult to seat the slug.

I noticed this with my new Vulcan 3 in 25 which slugged at .2545 so I ordered some NSA 33.6 gr in .254 and they require so much force to be applied when cocking I am concerned about the long term effects of continued use.

I had the same concern with my 25 Mav but never found any slugs more accurate than 34 gr pellets so are really never became an issue.

The V3 has a 700mm CZ non chocked barrel and I bought it specifically to shoot slugs, 1st time out with the slug inventory I had (non over .250) I was really impressed with how it shot the HN 34 and 36 gr, but the NSA 36.2 in .250 were amazing!

I watched this vid

He came up with about the same results of .2545 with the V3 barrel as I, they had great results with the AVS .2553 slugs which are even larger that the NSA .254 slugs I have, so I imagine that it is even more pressure required to chamber.

To you slug shooters out there, do you just get used to the increased cocking force? Has it caused any issues with the gun?

HW/Weihrauch  Found a friend for my HW35L

Another HW35L! The new one (front) was manufactured around 1966 based on the serial number and pairs perfectly with my 1975 HW35L. Based on the condition of the breech seal it 100% is due for a service. I'll replace the breech with a modern synthetic seal and HOPEFULLY be able to save the factory leather seal. I won't know until I tear it down which likely won't be for a couple of months. I'm looking forward to getting this girl back up and running like she deserves though. I cannot believe the condition this 35 is in for being nearly 60yrs old.

Bipods/Rests  SOLD Solid Oak Firearm Cradle Hand-Made - $95

Wow, I didn't realize I had priced this wrong below. Price is $95. The dimensions are 24"x9"x 7" and about 13 pounds. 10 Ounce leather protects the rifle stock from the cradle itself. A 1.25" wood threaded rod that I made myself, is adjusted to hold the butt of the rifle against the cradle. Under the firearm's grip is a sliding grip support.
This cradle is made to be taken apart for shipping with metal inserts underneath the two large pieces (forearm and butt support). Stainless steel bolts thread from the bottom of the cradle into these threaded inserts to assemble the device.

I ship quickly and securely.

Price is $95 + $20 Shipping.

P.S, The Powder Burner blue stock is not included.

Other  Just got this. Beautiful stock.

It’s attached to a .308 Quackenbush.
Not sure if I want to keep it, though. I’m not a big bore guy.
Made by Tom Weston in 2014. The rifle made in 2004.
It’s zebrawood with padauk caps. Sure is pretty, so I thought it should be shared.
Photo taken just before I got it.

PCP Rifle  NLA .177 Crosman Challenger 10M Rifle

Sold pending payment to @Offhand

Selling my Crosman Challenger .177 10M rifle. This rifle is extremely accurate at 10M, see target picture below. The trigger is set to break at 1.5 ounces and is VERY VERY nice. Holds air forever and gets 200+ shots per fill. I purchased it new less than a year ago and it comes with original paper work, box, fore grip, longer rear but pad rail extension, diopter front and rear sights, which I have never used. $600 TYD in lower 48 states. I had another set of cocking handle vertical bars made because the stock ones hurt my fingers after a tin of pellets.

I have bought and sold lots of items here with 100% positive feedback so buy with confidence. Paypal, cashiers check or money order are OK.

NO TRADES.

N/A  New hw95L option?

AoA made a post on another forum about a soon to come to them ( exclusive?) On a new hw 95 luxus option .

"I am excited to give HAM readers a early nugget of HW exciting news. Look forward in the next few days to a new option for the HW95 luxes. To my knowledge never to be offered before. An AOA world exclusive as well."

Anyone seen or know more ?

I'm still thinking maybe a synthetic sl style stock / blackline option that replaces the discontinued standard non luxus stock . LoL

Karma  Sneak Peek at the Karma Airguns forthcoming SLS

You've probably heard of the Red Panda, but that's not the only thing coming down the line from Karma Airguns. I've been testing pre-production samples the new SLS (Side-Lever-Semi) and had a few minutes to share a group or three and some of my thoughts.

The Karma Airguns SLS will be coming in .22, .25, .30 and .357 and there will be short and standard tank/barrel configurations in .22 and .25, and standard length in .30 and .357.

A full video will have to wait for the production models, but the quick and dirty preview is here.

PJ Clarke

Celebrated the 46th anniversary of my 21st birthday -

with a short hunt at the local WMA on Percy Priest Reservoir.

With the chorus of the 70's hit Afternoon Delight running through my mind and a silly grin I got in the woods right at 3 and took a very relaxed meandering stroll.

Decided to take the left fork in the trail leading into the WMA and found a nice spot near some hardwoods with den tree potential.

Within about 20 minutes or so I spot a suspicious gray blob that turned out to be a squirrel checking me out. I must have moved too fast raising my rifle, so he ran to the opposite side.

I decided to just chill, and if I spot him again great, if not I'll move along. My patience paid off, as I caught a flurry in my peripheral vision while scanning the trees, yep, squirrelzilla has

re-appeared at the exact spot, a knot leftover from a broken limb near the trunk. I was ready, and popped him good with a Predator 25 grainer.

Again, I apologise for the poor cell phone pics, maybe Santa Clause will grant my wish?

A few pics of the WMA, and the obligatory dead squirrel
