This is an amazing rifle and in excellent condition - I just placed 2nd at the Can Nationals.
Fully adjustable velocity, from 500fps to 1,200fps.
The battery was recently replaced, charges to the full 12.6v. I'm the 2nd owner.
The original owner was a Daystate collector and this rifle has been serviced three times to ensure it's functioning as designed. Works flawlessly.
Scope not included. $2,500 Including Shipping in it's original box. More Pictures available upon reqluest.
From Daystate:
The heart of the Grand Prix’s electronic action is based on the latest Capacitor Discharge Technology (CDT), which uses a digital microprocessor to control a solenoid-powered, highly-advanced air valve. Courtesy of Daystate’s Mapped Compensation Technology program (MCT), the rifle’s computer calculates precisely the amount of time and distance the valve needs to open to ensure identical air releases.
This continually regulates the rifle’s power output, from the first shot to the last, eliminating any power curve and ensuring very consistent pellet velocities. An additional MVT program (Mapped Velocity Technology) then analyses the data recorded by the integral chronograph (velocity sensor), making further, infinitesimally small adjustments for even greater consistency and, therefore, accuracy.
An LCD window on the breech provides the shooter with feedback of the rifle’s status, including air pressure, velocity, shot-count and battery voltage - and MVT can easily be user-programmed on the Grand Prix to set it to the exact velocity preferred. The Grand Prix’s technologically-advanced action is backed-up by a stock that’s every bit as state-of-the-art. Made from laminate to eliminate stresses being transferred to the metalwork it cradles, the thumbhole stock has been beautifully crafted with both form and function in mind.
Its ergonomic shape and array of multi-adjustable features bring every conceivable benefit to the Grand Prix shooter, whether faced with a sitting, prone, kneeling or standing shot. Quick adjustments to the cheekpiece and fore-end can be made ‘on the fly’, while a more tailored gun fit can be achieved by way of precise adjustments to the cheek, butt pad and palm rest. A full-length accessory rail under the vented fore-stock also allows further fittings, for a totally bespoke setup and maximum control.
Manufactured in the UK on state-of-the-art, computer-controlled machinery and then hand-assembled and individually tested by skilled airgun technicians at Daystate’s factory in Staffordshire, the Grand Prix is built to the tightest tolerances achievable.
Throughout, every component has been carefully selected to harness the rifle’s awesome potential. Its specially re-enforced bolt-action breech houses a special match-grade Lothar Walther barrel, the accuracy from which is further guaranteed by the Grand Prix’s custom-developed muzzle brake. This deflects turbulent air away from the pellet as it emerges from the choked muzzle to ensure its precise flight to the target. And as you would expect on a rifle capable of such phenomenal accuracy, the Grand Prix boasts a seriously sophisticated match trigger to give the shooter full control over the shot release.
Totally electronic, it offers finely tunable weight and travel adjustments to both stages and is complemented by a multi-position, match-style blade. Computer controlled - electronic firing system. New patented MVT digital regulator for super consistency.
On-board built-in Chronograph to adjust power for optimum performance.
Single shot reinforced breech.
Gary Cane manufactured laminated stock.
