Here goes - up for sale today is an AGT Uragan Compact in .177 with Walnut Stock. I have been setting this UC up for Field Target so it has a few upgrades. This is one of the most accurate .177s I've owned. It is a laser with JSB 10.34 pellets and I have shot groups as small as 1/4" @ 42 yards. It's got a tight choke, so a couple of pull throughs every 3-400 rounds and it'll stay very accurate.

The regulator is a stock Uragan one, tuned to ~110 bar IIRC. With the hammer spring this will adjust the JSB 10.34gr pellets from the 600s up to around 930 fps.

I have installed a K&L, KLS-M butt onto the stock which helps it shoulder amazingly. The trigger is a nice two-stage with a crisp break. I've replaced the manometer with a Huma one as it is more accurate.

The moderator is a Huma Mod.30 5/0 with 14x1.25 threads. It's a five section moderator but currently only 4 sections are on the UC with the first section empty. Spare section and curler/felt for the empty section included in plastic container. I've gone this route as I feel it keeps the UC compact and lightweight while providing better sound moderation over the stock shroud/moderator combo.

I've installed the Al Handguard for better hand grip and more mounting options.

I also have some extras for your tuning pleasure. Purchased from Tony, the Talon Tunes AGT Reg tuner - very nicely made and works extremely well. One Huma regulator, one Uragan regulator.

Purchased new on 1/25/2022. FX Impact M3 .25 in black. It is stock standard. Included is 3 25rd magazines one has an Orion printed wheel, and includes the original 28rd wheel, one 3d printed single shot loader, manual, case. Factory FX moderator is not included. I have too many PCP's and I almost never shot this one. Its tuned to shoot JSB Exact 25.39 gr domed at 900fps. Pellet on pellet with a spread of 2 and a std dev of 1.1. Holds air without leaks. Its never been back to the shop. I literally just don't shoot it.

I have a .22 Edgun Veles pistol for sale. I’m not sure if they even make these anymore. I’m the original owner and it’s pretty much been a safe queen. Probably no more than half a tin of pellets have been through it. I also have the original moderator. I’ve been told these guns are super easy to work on if you’re so inclined to do so. I just read ThomasT's thread about barrel cleaning and yes, just like most of the posts I clean when accuracy demands.
Last time I cleaned I opened up the Donny Sumo just to see what it looked like inside and WOW, what a gunky mess. So, I spent the next half-hour scrubbing the internals (including the screen) until all surfaces were clean. Per usual, the accuracy returned to spot on after the cleaning, but I wonder if the moderator cleaning had anything at all to do with this.
Question is (and the reason for a new thread) does anybody out there ever clean their moderators and is it worthwhile or a waste of time?

I'm looking to get the right gun for extreme benchrest and extreme field target. I'm looking at the FX Crown, FX Impact and RAW HM1000x. Out of those guns which is the easiest to tune and reliable?

I've noticed most of the field is shooting .30 Cal. Is there a disadvantage in using .22 Cal , or .25cal?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

.30 caliber is not to my liking. Sticking to .22 and .25.

So lately my chrono have been acting up, and not really wanting to measure / say anything.
My first fix was to calibrate to +0.1 and that also worked for that session, but then this weekend it was back to only wanting to do a few shots after profile change.

My end solution ( annoying one ) was to delete the app and install it again, but that annoying meant that i lost all my custom profiles

Anyone else had their FX chrono back itself into a corner like that ?

I've been finding that FX Hybrid slugs in 22 caliber are producing best results in my 100 yard shooting. I only wish they were less expensive. FX's packaging is rather costly, and I wouldn't mind if the slugs were packaged in a tin, cardboard box, or plastic bag so that prices could be competitive with other suppliers.

Did some tuning and messing around.

Baked my ass off practicing today. I shot on paper for a bit and my dumbass wasn't using the can't level built into the moa rail on the alpha, kept adjusting this and adjusting that, then realized it wasn't level and boom. Things nailing everything .

So advice! Make sure you're shooting level, POI can drastically change from POA if not level.

Also this @targetforge know your limits system is an absolute blast and my new favorite piece of equipment.

Bought as a project gun, and lost interest.

In great shape, other than the regulator cap has some finish marring due to using pliers to break it free a couple times. See pics for that.

Comes with 2 extra regulators. One fits the standard bottle and is 2200 psi output. The other is made to fit the M18x1.5 standard HPA bottles and is also set to 2200 psi.

Has 3 mags, the 1 original umarex, and 2 brand new marauder mags. Yes they fit and work, it's well documented.

Degassing tool is included.

In stock form it does 870 fps with 25.39 kings. With the 2200 psi regulator it was doing 910 fps. I'm sure there is plenty more in this gun, but its just do dang big for me and I'm done messing with it. Too many irons in the fire.

I'm back with another gun for sale! This time, a Cricket 2 Tactical .22 Caliber. Why am I selling it so cheap, you ask? The gun works just fine but.........
I bought this back in April from Tony @ Talon Tunes. The gun arrived not holding air. No biggie, contacted Tony, sent it back and in a few days, had it back holding air just fine. Being busy with other hobbies and with life in general, it took me a couple, (maybe even a few) weeks to even shoot the thing and run some chrony test. While running my test, I noticed it was a little under powered and had an odd power adjustment setting in order to get full, max FPS. While running the numbers, using an 18 grain pellet, I was able to get very similar results that Tony was getting (980-990) with the hammer adjustment screwed all the way IN!! If I backed the hammer adjustment out several turns, (I actually show the back-out distance in a photo) I could achieve 1020 FPS or so, which is STILL low for what it should be. I contacted Tony and asked if he had to mess around with the Regulator and he assured me he didn't. Of course, I believe Tony 100%. I have attached photos of my Chrony sessions, one says "FX Mav 23 grain" Which is actually me shooting the 18 grain pellet, while adjusting the hammer adjustment. The other says, "Cricket Tac-2 24.8 grain" this is actually an FX 25.4 grain pellet on it's highest FPS I could get out of it. Again, it works and shoots well, only shot it to run these numbers but it DOES have some type of underpowered problem. I don't know and don't care, at this point. Lol I'm too wrapped up into other things! Could be a simple fix, could be something crazy. If you're interested, hit me up. Asking $1100 shipped.

One baffle removed to accommodate moderator (baffle is in the bag with all the allen keys and spare parts). The bottom Pic rail has a one-screw attachment point and would twist, I epoxied in place for a more permanent hold. Excellent condition and great for backyard-friendly fun.
