Downgrading to an older model?

After my twin girls were born this spring my spare time got drastically reduced. 😊 The need for a totally reliable gun that simply just works when I get to go outside quickly arose. Sadly that meant my L2 had to go…

So what do you buy when you want a simple and reliable, accurate, powerful and compact air rifle? A Leshiy Classic of course! Having owned several in the past I knew perfectly well what to I got myself into and I do not regret my decision about “downgrading” one bit.

The gun shoots as good as it looks therefore I thought I should treat myself a nice scope and cool backpack too.

Fun times ahead!

SOLD Fx Royal 500 benchrest

Looking to trade my fx royale 500 .25 cal with Steve Corcoran “the sled” benchrest stock, comes with 2 mags and a single shot tray, no scope. It loved the jsb 25.39’s and shot around 860 fps and is a laser beam, thought I would get into benchrest shooting but I never really got into it, looking to trade for another rifle of equal quality, so be reasonable with trade offers, no I do t want your $300 Avenger etc… I’m pretty open to trades but would love to get another Kalibre gun 😁

SOLD For Sale Rifle - FX Wildcat MKIII Sniper .22 with mods like new

Hi,

For sale is an FX Wildcat MKIII .22 Sniper with several modifications to extend the power range and reduce regulator pressure (@110). The details are as follows:
1. The gun was purchased less than a year ago from Baker (receipt attached)
2. The gun was purchased to compete in the AoA EBR in 2021 and was the only thing available at the time (Covid)
3. I placed 12th overall in the one-gun challenge at EBR and 3rd in the Extreme Field Target
4. Modifications include a larger cocking handle, plenum, hammer spring, Huma high flow transfer port, pellet probe, and FX moderator

This is a very accurate gun out to 100 yards (that's typically the farthest I shot it) and has complete power adjustability to shoot 18 gr or 25 gr pellets well over 1,000 fps if desired. I competed and typically shot the rifle around 975 fps with a 25 gr JSB Redesign. I had on order a couple of other .22 caliber rifles at the time but this one was in stock so I ordered it. I simply have too many guns in my gun safe, a problem most of us have...

$1,200 OBO shipping NOT included. PayPal or Zelle preferred.

SOLD Guntote 2

Never used outside although I used it to hold a rifle in the garage. This one was made for an Anschutz CA/ZM 2002 but will work with whatever will fit based on the dimensions of the supports which are pictured. And those can also be modified with a little hacksaw or dremel action.
This fits perfectly in a medium flat rate priority box so give me $40 and I’ll ship it priority free.

FX Impact, Mk III, Compact King

With a little help in the idea from "Douger" and his Impact MkII, I bought the goodies to make my Mk III, Impact a "King"...to borrow the term from the dual bottle Uragan.
A little heavier, but not objectionably so.
No leaks.
Though I did have to do some whittling on my Huma M40 Suppressor, as you can see the angle at the back of it, to clear the bottles. I was afraid that I was going to cut through the thin wall of the suppressor housing, and have it fall apart ! Luck was with me, as I really like that suppressor.

SOLD Sightron Competition 45x45 ED BR Scope

Relisting….Brand New ….mounted once. I bought 2of these scopes with the intention of leaving one of them with the EagleVision scope cam mounted to it so I didn’t have to take it off and set it back up every time I used it. Turns out that I never use the scope cam or this scope. It’s probably 1 month old and is absolutely perfect. It comes with Vortex Pro series low rings.

900.00 plus shipping. Domestic only

Scope curiosity

I bought a new Arken scope. 6-24X50 FFP 34mm tube, zero stop, nice glass. Minimum focus is only to 25 yards, and is marked like that. I seldom take a shot below that so no problem. I really like the scope, for me this scope hit all the marks. So, I bought another exactly like it. Here's the curious part, the second scope focuses to 20 yards and is marked as such.

Scope Alignment Help Needed

I am sighting in my Benjamin Akela with a 12 power scope and here’s what happens. At 50 yds, I’m right on target, but the 25 yds POI is 1.5 inches to the right. If I adjust the 25 yd POI to be on target, then the 50 yd POI is to the left. Anyone know what’s going on?
Seem like the scope and barrel might be out of parallel? Is that possible? How would I fix it.
Thanks

Results  Southwest Airgunners June 2022 Match Report

We had another great match this weekend up around 8600 feet above sea level in the cool pines. The weather was great, with threats of afternoon monsoon thunderstorms building up each afternoon but never quite materializing. We got a few spits and sprinkles but not enough to even settle the dust.

Friday Evening Silhouette
8 shooters participated in the < 20fpe silhouette match.
silhoutte score.jpg

How bout Steve shooting a perfect silhouette score?!?!?! Great shooting Steve. Those perfect scores happen occasionally but they're tough to come by when shooting tiny little chickens at 70 yards with <20 fpe.

Field Target
Friday morning we set a 12 lane, 56 shot match. And yes, the math doesn't quite add up, and that's because the first 4 lanes had 3 targets/6 shots each, the remaining 8 lanes had the typical 2 targets/4 shots each. The game plan was to set the course with enough (mostly) pistol legal targets so that some could be used for both a rifle and a pistol match. We used the near and the middle targets on lanes 1-4 and then used lane 7 and lane 11 for pistol. That resulted in only two pistol targets that wouldn't be quite pistol legal at a grand prix: a 1.5inch at 36 yards was just one yard too far, and a 3/8 inch target at 10 yards. I understand official pistol rules allow for kill zones of 1/2 inch and higher. So, we ended up with a 56 shot rifle match, with a course Troyer of 32 and a 24 shot pistol match, with a course Troyer of 28. There were 3 targets on the rifle course with Troyer of 40 or more and the hardest pistol target was a Troyer of 34.7 coming from a 3/4 inch kill zone at 26 yards. The easiest pistol target was still a 20.7, so, overall a pretty tough pistol match, at least it seemed that way to me.

Rifle Scores
rifle score.jpg

Franz shot VERY well. He has only had that Huntsman for 2 weeks and was just marveling at how accurate a nice PCP can be. His seems to be on the higher end of the accuracy spectrum as he was same-holing many of his practice shots prior to the official match. He also stated that he was having a blast picking tiny twigs off the trees. An accurate airgun is a smile maker for sure.

Pistol Score

Many thanks to Steve Q and Larry for detouring on their way to the match to pick up the the targets at Rex's. Also thank you to all who helped set up and tear down (I think it was everybody actually).

Photos taken throughout the weekend (thanks Larry)
