AEA  Bintac T9 air leaking

Hello all, new guy here; this is my first post!

I am the proud owner of a Bintac T9 - I have had her since June 29 (purchased on the 15th). My pistol has had a full tin of 9mm pellets - the ones that came with the gun - fired through it with ZERO operational issues.

This last time I took her out to the range was no different. cycled through both mags multiple times with no issues.

When I got home, I decided to dump the rest of the air in one of my small refill tanks into the T9. After doing so, I heard a hissing noise, and could hear it through the barrel. I looked at the air gauge and it was at the border of green and red - so plenty. The hissing would not go away - gun was not cocked. I pulled out the charging (cocking) lever a teeny bit, and noticed the hissing to get louder.

Within 5 minutes all the air leaked out.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

-Marlon

Other  Best semi auto air pistol for rattlesnakes?

So I live on 3 acres in the county (not city regulated) and my mom just two days ago got bit by a rattlesnake. I'm looking for a little .177 pistol we cam carry that will get the job done. I really enjoy having things of quality that last, so price isn't too much of a factor.
I am currently getting the gk1 shorty, but that won't be for this. I really just want a smaller little pellet pistol that will get the job done for small stuff like a rattler. No blowback cuz that's ridiculous, and the more power the better. C02 is best, but I'm not against a pcp. I've so far looked at the baretta 92fs and the gamo p430, as well as the cp88.
Really for it's use, I just want something that can kinda be thrown around not worrying about how much it costs. But also powerful enough to get the job done.
I know it's a bit of a loaded question lol but really if it gets the job done the gamo p430 may be best in my eyes due to cost. It's not like for $200 more, it would be that much more powerful. What are your thoughts

N/A  .177 8-9 grain lead pellet of choice

I'm running some JSB Exact 8.44 pellets in my 12 fpe break barrel springer. The pursuit of accuracy and precision is probably my first ammo choice priority followed closely by small game hunting effectiveness. I also do a fair amount of plinking and target shooting on the side so cost/shot is a concern as well. I've been fairly impressed with the JSB 8.44 so far but I'm wondering if there is another choice out there that might be as good or better. What is your pellet of choice?

FX  Fx King, I need help

My name is Melo, and I am reading you and now I am writing from La Palmas, Canary Islands, and in this opportunity I am doing so to ask for help.First of all, I apologize if my writing is not correct and is not well understood. My native language is not English and I use Google Translate.
Among my weapons I have an LG 400, a Steyr Challenge, both at 16 joules, about 12 Ft-lbs, which I use to participate in local benchrest competitions, so I'm not at zero on the PCP issue.Well, to the point, I have wanted to buy my first high-power PCP for a long time. I think I have read and seen everything that has been published about the M3 impact, but in the end I bought a 600mm Fx King in .22 caliber and STX heavy upper barrel coating.
To be honest, I have no experience in adjusting this type of weapons, the ones I own do not have that many adjustments and it only consists of getting a pellet that the barrel likes, and although I have read a lot and watched many videos, I cannot get it to work, or so I think.I have seen some videos on how to adjust the impact, but this is where I have been able to find the most clear and concise information and although there is not much on the internet about the FX King, I believe that the Phantera and Dynamic share the same adjustments. In fact, the FX does not include a King manual with the weapon, it includes a Phantera and Dynamic manual. After performing several tests, I have come to the conclusion that the King with JSB, FX pellets, 18.13gr - 18.1gr at 880 fps is very precise and since what I want is precision, the weapon will only be used for benchrest, and what I am looking for is to adjust the regulator and micro to have the best balance between regulator and hammer, gain consistency and precision.
What I do:
1º- I set the macro wheel to number 13, and I forget about it, I don't touch it anymore.
2º- Regulator at 110 bar and I start the micro wheel at 0 and I go up 4 clips, a couple of timed shots and I go up 4 clips trying to find the maximum speed of this pellet with that regulator
In theory I look for the 96% formula to find the plateau, where is the problem? Well at 110 bar the highest speed is above 1100fps and is very far from the 880 that I am looking for and when applying the 96% formula the speed always remains above 880 fps.
This happens to me when configuring the regulator at 80,90,100,120 bar, and if I set the regulator to 50,60,70 bar when I manage to reach those 880 fps the difference from the highest to lowest speed does not leave me any room to regulate.
Question,
Due to its configuration, this weapon cannot be regulated in this way. Do I have to use heavier pellets? Am I doing it wrong? Or do I simply leave the macro wheel at 13, for example, and look for 880 fps with the micro wheel and with the regulator as low as possible and forget to look for a balance between regulator and hammer blow?
There is something that I am missing, what am I doing wrong? Any help would be very helpful so I can enjoy my weapon knowing that everything is fine.
Thank you all very much and I look forward to reading your comments.

Diana  Diana two forty safety hang-up.

Hello, all

After firing my Diana .177, the safety jammed/seized up. Did not want to force it, so oiled it. I then worked the action (cocked it) a few times and it started working again. Is this common with Chinese Diana rifles?

First day on forum.

As most of you, we had BB gun since we were kids. Mine was a Daisy mod 25. Must be around 55+ years old. I still have it. Those were the days.

FX  FX m3 impact 25 cal 700 mm barrel. First 5 shots shoot 40 foot per second higher.

My impact holds perfect first and second regulator pressure upon filling the gun to 250 bar. It shoots 20 feet per second faster for the first 5 shots Which causes it to shoot one inch higher at 100 yd. I tape marked all my gages for 24 hours and they hold steady.
My first rag is set at 175 and my second reg is set at 145 Shooting AEA 34 grain pellets.
I'm shooting at 920 feet per second with a standard deviation of one After the first 5 shots. My valve is at 4 lines. My macro is at 7 and my micro. Is at 4. Feedback.
Would be much appreciated, thank you.

  • Question
Brocock/BRK  BRK Ghost .25 Cal, 23" Barrel

So the above mentioned air rifle and I where shooting yesterday at 50 yards. The MKII didn't group very well and I swapped over to the 25.39 Exact Kings.
On power setting #9 they went all in mostly the same hole (see attached photo).

So the question I have is does it make sense or is it more efficient to lower the reg pressure and up the wheel setting? Or leave it alone in case I need/want to switch back to the MKII?

I can get two magazines (20 shots) when I fill up to 225 bar and refill around 160 bar. I believe I should be able to fill to 300 bar IIRC. Would reducing the reg pressure and upping the wheel increase shot count?

Please advise,

Smitty

FX  FX Dreamline Optics

Hello everyone,

I currently have a FX Dreamline GRS with a large Falcon x50 FT scope. I am finding that pesting in my yard is more my cup of tea and am considering getting rid of the Falcon. I am looking for a fixed mag option that is very lightweight. Probably 5x mag or so. A lot of my pesting is 30 yards and closer. Any recommendations? Should I consider prism sights?

Crosman  Crosman 2210

Hello all. Looking for some help with thr crosman 2210 co2 repeater pistol. It was leaking so I disassembled and changed out seals but I have two tiny springs that I am not sure of their location. I have an old drawing of parts but it isn’t that clear. Any help would be appreciated. These are small coiled springs. I thing one goes by the trigger, perhaps behind it and one may go by the hammer. When I assembled it, it fired and held co2 really well but wasn’t cocking right or advancing correctly.

  • Question
N/A  PCP to Springer Recommendations

Hello Everyone,

I am planning to sell my FX Dreamline GRS w/ Falcon x50FT scope and accessories to purchase a more traditional springer type air rifle. The reason for selling is just due to the PCP platform in general requiring more gizmos and gadgets to use and use well. Firstly, I am looking for something that has enough power to kill woodchuck sized animals/pests pretty easily. Secondly, something accurate and fun to shoot in my backyard at targets, etc. I live on 3 acres with plenty of room to shoot up to 100 yards or so, although I would not be shooting pest further than 40 yards I'm sure. I do not have a strong preference on caliber but have plenty of .22 pellets..

I have looked at many options in the past and did my research but have been out of the hobby for about a year and don't know what is new in this category so figured this is a good place to start. I also need 10 posts before I can sell my PCP so I might as well get crackin. I have considered the Diana Airking 54, Hatsan 135, TX200, and Weihrauch's various offerings. I will likely get a fixed or lower variable mag scope that excels in target acquisition for hunting purposes.

Thanks for any insight!

Air Venturi  Avenge x. Upgrades

Hey all,

So I’m new to PCP air guns - I had a few other co2 and springers, but this is a first. I went with the Avenge - X full synthetic. Looks like you can swap out to the tactical stock. I guess Im getting at which one?? There is a tactical stock chassis, a saber stock, ect.

I have the 210 tube not bottle - can someone send a link? If that’s allowed - first time posting

Thanks!

  • Question
UTG Folding Adapter Availability

I stumbled upon a large inventory of UTG folding adapters that work with Buck Rail and other mil spec threads. I was wondering where I could sell these adapters and if this forum would be a good place for that? I have 6 left, but I can point people in the direction needed once these are gone!

I still have to make more posts and comment on others posts (Im new to the group) in order to post in the classifieds, but I'm working on that currently.

Thanks for the consideration!

Low, medium, or high rings for an Arken Epl-4 on AA s510xs

I recently got an Air Arms s510xs and am looking at getting an Arken EPL-4 6-24×50 scope on it. I am planning to pick up some BKL rings but I am not sure about the proper ring height.

Has anyone put this scope on an s510? Any recommendations on which rings will work well?

I have liked the BKLs in the past but am willing to use anything that works within reason.

Brocock/BRK  Questions for BRK Ghost Owners

I would appreciate any Ghost owners to share their opinions on a few specific questions, and also anything else you would like to add that is Ghost related.

How well does the gun fit off hand standing shooting, ergonomics, weight, pointability, etc?
Noise with your moderator for your caliber?
What regulator pressure are you using for your caliber?
Shot count?

thank you in advance for taking the time to respond. I will be selling my 25 cal FX M3, I have seen every BRK Ghost YouTube video made, and if your answers confirm how good I think the Ghost is I will be getting one soon. I do some hunting, some bench rest and a lot of silhouette up to 100 yards.
