FX  Regulator Fail FX Impact Mk II?

I've never had this issue before, but I was having very strange behavior from my FX Impact Mk II today. I found that the plenum pressure was the same as the tank pressure. I'm assuming that my regulator has failed, but I wanted to see if anyone has other opinions about this. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.

Evanix  Difference between Evanix Rex-FA and Evanix Ibex

Is there any internal difference between the Evanix Rex FA and Ibex except the different look, and do they have the same power level?

On the Evanix website its stated that both guns share the same barrel length, but I think this information is maybe outdated, since the newest Rex FA model isn't displayed on their website.

Introduction and first post.

Hello, my name is Mark and after a long absence from any air gun forums, James Kitchen and yellow, I decided to join AGN. As my handle says I live in the state of misery. I just bought a new Notos, scope and rings and am having problems getting a good picture in the scope. I have one inch high rings and they are still not high enough for a good sight through the scope. I have to push down so hard on the stock with my face that I cannot get any kind of accuracy out of it. Anyone have any suggestion on what i can do to solve this problem. Mark

Umarex  Gauntlet SL30 help

I recently acquired a Gauntlet SL30. I originally shot it in the factory stock with JSB 44.74 and 50.15 pellets. I didn’t record my groups but I was quite pleased with the accuracy. 50 shots with the 50.15 averaged 977fps and a whopping 107ft/lbs right out of the box. I swapped it into a Hajimoto/Buck Rail chassis but did NOT add a barrel band. I took it out the last couple days and accuracy was pretty terrible. I thought maybe it was far too fast for pellets and tried to turn down the power via the screw at the back of the receiver, I found the screw was already maxed out in the counter clockwise direction and turning it clockwise resulted in even higher velocity, well over 1000fps and turned in about 10 full turns, after the shot the valve remained open and I had to cock the rifle to stop air escaping, so I’m assuming full clockwise is the LOWEST hammer spring tension I can set and is still more power than I really want-I was shooting fully through my rubber stall mat backstop. I do intend to try slugs in this rifle, but is there any way to reduce power from current minimum stock levels without tearing deep into the gun? And am I pushing pellets too fast or do I just need to add a barrel band like the factory stock had to regain accuracy?

FX  Tuning Fx Impact .30

Hello,

I have recently acquired an FX Impact M4 in .30 cal. 700mm barrel, tungsten hammer, slug probe.

I truthfully am very lost in trying to get this thing tuned, I thought I had it close a couple of times but then get to the range and end up running out of air before I can get to anything conclusive. I am having a hard time figuring out what setting to have the valve/regulator/wheels (macro/micro) at, I have watched several of the youtube videos out there and some information seems to be contradicting. I just want this gun to shoot accurately so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Backdrop for target shooting

I will be attempting to use old gallon size milk and juice jugs filled with sand and or 5 gallon bucket filled with sand and old clothes. My concern is with my son when he shoots ,what's behind his target? I'm teach him to check his surroundings before he pulls the trigger, just incase he misses his intended target. I live on a corner lot three houses surround the back of my property.
Is there a backdrop of some sort backdrop that can put up in case of a miss ? Either purchase or DIY type situation 🤔 I'm teaching my son these things the best i know how . Crossman 362 .22 and umarex notos .22

Western Airguns  Western Rattler .30 cal questions

Hi I am looking at the western Rattlerin 30 cal because of the FPE it has to try some heavy slugs , So my question is
1. magisine length ?? , how long of a slug can you use >??? so it cycles normal ,
2. what diameter is the .30 caliber barrel , is it .300 like a FX , evol eact or is it more like a firearm caliber like texan ,308 ?
3. any idea of twist rate ?

I see specs and it says 50- to 175fpe this is alot compared to my evol or my mk2 impact .
So this means the rattler has enough power to shoot a 80 grain 990 fps , this is alot of power ,
thanks

Hatsan sortie not cycling with donny fl barrel end adaptor

I have a brand new hatsan sortie. Put the donnyfl barrel end adapter on it and now it doesn't cycle semi auto. Took it off and checked/lubed the spring. Still the same. Will shoot single shot bolt action style ok but I bought it because it it semi auto. The bore diameter is smaller, too much back pressure?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hatsan  PCP Newbie seeking charging advice for Hatsan Jet 1

I am new to the PCP world and received a Hatsan Jet 1 for Christmas and recently bought a Spritech compressor off Amazon. Over the weekend I attempted to charge the Hatsan and my first roadblock was that the quick connector would not operate properly and then I read somewhere that some fittings require the O-rings inside have to be removed. I removed both of them and the fitting worked properly. I fired up the Spritech and made sure the bleeder valve was closed following along all the instructions in the manual and after approx. 15-20 minutes neither the needle on the compressor or the Hatsan had moved ? Am I being impatient or ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated !

  • Question
Stoeger  Stoeger. 22 bullpup

Hello, I just purchased a Bullpup .22 Stoeger pcp and the guy who sold it to me told me that it's about 50 shots before air refill.
Strangely, I'm able to shot more than a 100 shots and the pressure gauge is still at 130 bars.
How can that be? Do I need to higher the spring hammer? I live in a country where it's hard to get good answers...
I noticed that the gun is shooting below the target at 60-70 yards far. At short distances I have no problem but the longer the distance the lower the target.
Please advise.
Thank you

  • Question
FX  FX Impact M4 Charging handle hard to close

From the title, the charging handle on my M4 is/was hard to close. I was have a pin probe for shooting slugs and I had it adjusted to what I though was the 'correct' depth for my gun. Today I ended up pulling my barrel off and after reassembly the charging handle the last little bit before it would close became very stiff. I ended up backing the set screw out and adjusting the pin a little further out which did make the handle easy to close again.

Not very familiar with how all of this stuff works together so any feedback would be great!

Thank you in advance!

Got the Kratos bottle off…sort of.

I was able to get the bottle free from the action, but as you can see in the pic there is still this adapter connected to the bottle which will prevent me from slipping a depinger brush inside.

it was already really difficult to get the bottle off, and now this little piece seems all but permanently installed. I can’t tell if maybe that bit that I have circled in red is just paint, or if this is somehow tack-welded or glued in Place. I suppose I can get channel locks and try to wrestle it off at the flat collar/“cap” (though that might chew up my connector) but I want to really make sure I am not doing something wrong before I go brute forcing my way to a damaged gun.

what do you think, muscle this thing off? Or is there something I am missing?
