What’s out there for Full blowback bb pistols??

Hey, I’m looking for a co2 bb pistol that is FULL blowback and decent power for under $150. I don’t want a 1911 and would prefer a Glock style one more. It needs to be full blowback and a replica of a real gun or look very realistic. Just wondering what’s out there for options on the market. Thanks!

  • Question
Ace Venturi Avenge-X scope ring profile?

I just ordered an Ace Venturi Avenge-X and was wondering if anyone could tell me what scope rings profile would be best. On my hunting rifles I always go with the lowest profile rings possible. However I have no idea of the clearance needed to allow the clip installation. Just trying to get a jump on the delivery of the gun. Thank you all in advance! It is a .22 Cal.

3D printer recommendations requested

I have no idea where to start with this, but would like recommendations for a 3D printer. At first, I want to make moderators and adapters for the 2 working airguns I have, but I don't want to be limited. I am sure once I have a 3D printer, I will find many more things to make/"print". If I live long enough, who knows what I might want to try. (smile)

Price is not necessarily an object (anymore), but I don't want to spend more than necessary to have a good 3D printer. Yeah, I know... (chuckle)

Anyway, since this is the ONLY forum I am active on, I thought I would ask. (smile)

Thanks!

Kerry

  • Question
Huben  Huben GK1 V1 VS V3R

I am confused about the pricing on Huben's website for the GK1. So they sell the regulated GK1 V3R for $1899 (price dropped $100 this week). The original GK1 V1 is $2199. Those prices are both for the suppressed options with the adapter. I look at the specs and I do not see why. They both have the same power and specs. I saw the GK1 V1 for sale on another site for $1299, I dont know how legit that site is so I wont link it. I assumed the V1 would be getting phased out and thats why I saw it on sale.

I am assuming its a pricing mistake, but I figured I would ask here.

PCP newbie

Hello,

I have a Diana 34 but I’ve been thinking about jumping into the PCP world for a few years now. At first I thought about getting a marauder to start. Seems like a decent entry level gun but here lately I’ve been thinking about just going all out and getting an FX impact or maverick. I know nothing about tuning or any of that. It’d mainly be for paper punching (at distance) and pest control (short distance). Money isn’t an issue but curious if I’d be getting in over my head with an FX. I’d like to get something in .25 or .30 cal. Any insight, suggestions, advice, or recommendations would be appreciated.

N/A  Can You Rest your PCP on the Air Bottle when shooting??

Hey all.

One more question I have that I’ve always wondered about. Forgive my repeated questions.

When I shoot I use an old camera tripod to rest the front end on while I am sitting in a chair. I find this works best for my back and neck.

In looking at all these PCP rifles and bull pups I see more and more that have the air bottle out front under the barrel. I’m talking about the ones that are more “bottle” shaped than the “tube” style that bull pups have.

I would like to know if it’s OK to rest your rifle like I would do with that bottle resting upon the tripod. Would it cause the seal to loosen over time? Would it be safe to do it that way?

It’s one of the reasons I have been unsure about the models that have the bottle mounted in the front. I’ve seen some of the nicer models have a bracket that’s mounted on the frame of the rifle and extends out several inches to protect the bottom of the bottle and give you a place to rest the rifle on your tripod.

Can you give some guidance on this and whether it’s ok to do or if it should not be done unless you have a bracket protecting it?

Thank you all again for your help and time.

Huben  Huben GK1 V3R Heaviest Ammo

So I have a new to me Huben GK1 V3 22 on the way. I am looking to order ammo, but I am not sure what the best options are. I hear some ammo fits loose, and other ammo is too big. I figured I would ask here what the best options are for ultra accurate ammo of any weight, as well as the heaviest/largest ammo I can fit.

Can you all give me some suggestions please so when it arrives the ammo I have is the best I can fit? Thanks

Daystate Red Wolf HP programmer

Have just recently purchased the Red Wolf HP tuner programmer new. It doesn't seem to come with any pictures or instructions regarding the interface leads and the connection orientation. The connector in question (M/F), where one side, the female has 4 leads attached and one intentionally left blank. The male side has 5 leads (one totally shrink wrapped) attached to all pins, and unfortunately this connector can be put together two ways. Which side does the shrink wrapped wire align to, the blank pin hole on the female connector or the other side where the connector has a wire lead to it? Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Regarding some beginner questions

"Today, I shot some paper targets in my backyard at a distance of about 20 yards. The target paper was 5.5 inches, and I used JSB .22 caliber 18 grain pellets. Many of my JSB pellets are deformed due to compression, which severely affects accuracy. Do your pellets also experience deformation from compression? Are slugs less prone to deformation? Would they provide higher accuracy? Can my airgun handle them? I once hit 5 pigeons at 30 yards, but 3 flew away, leaving only 2 under the tree. It seems the power is too low. I saw some bloggers testing and saying it's only 15FPE. I think I might switch to a PCP soon.

Cheap PCP vs mid end springer?

im looking to buy another new airgun (makes 5 this year I think...) im not looking to spend a ton of money on this one, Im thinking about $350 is going to be my limit. on the PCP side of things, the avenger is looking dang good, but what springer would anyone recommend at this price point? I have a couple gamos and a couple crosman break barrels and yea im not super impressed, not disappointed, just not impressed. would the Beeman r7 be a good option? I should probably add that the main use for this new gun would be small game hunting and pest control at moderate distances. are any of the Diannas any good?
