Western Airguns  Rattler doesn't fire but once

So I have a Western airgun rattler 30 cal. I have only used it a hand full of times. This is mainly because it developed an air leak at the rear gage and Ive had it in the attic for 6 months. After putting the wrong o ring in it still leaked until I replaced it with the correct one today. After getting the leak fixed I took it out back ready for some fun. It shot one time accurately and wouldn't shoot again. Like there is no pressure or tension on the trigger. After waiting around for about 7 minutes I heard the gun click. So I pulled the trigger and it shot. Then back to the same thing. It's holding air and all of that is fine. I let all the air out and filled it back up twice only for it to continue to do the same. Honestly I need help with a self fix. I can't afford to send it in or ship it for the warranty. Any ideas . I've uploaded a video as well and as I stated it takes about 7 minutes to reset. Also full auto only fires once. Thanks

Uragan2 & RAW HM1000X, Help needed !

Hello Folks,

I’ve purchased both an Uragan 2 700mm and a RAW HM1000X chassis, both in.25 cal

The Uragan2 is just a little gem all around but, unlike his predecessor which I have in.30 cal and has a pinpoint accuracy, this newer one is just horrible in accuracy: up to 2,5 inch groups at 50m !
Since in my country shipping arms accros the boarder is related with huge administrative issues, I’d like to find a solution by myself first ! Therefore my first question in order to exclude at least the ammo issue: which kind of food does your own very same gun like most ? I must add that I inspected the barrel visually from outside and didn’t see some kind of dents in the baffles of the shroud, although I didn’t strip off the whole thing for closer inspection since, in order to be legal in my country, both the shroud as the added moderator had to be glued with 2k heavy duty glue to the barrel. I was able to unscrew the sumo (not without leaving some ugly dents from the tools) but, if possible otherwise, wouldn’t do the same to the shroud, convinced that it wouldn’t be possible without leaving some horrible scratches !

My second problem is the RAW, which started leaking through the small hole just behind the fill connecto/manifold element, right out of the box ! Since I didn’t get any answer and/or help either from Pyramydair nor [email protected], I just hope one of you guys may give me some advice…

I’ve stripped it down but didn’t see any problem, both of the O-rings on the regulator rod seem to be ok. I’ve tighten a bit the regulator washers and the leaking almost stopped, but this cannot be the solution since the pressure setting is now much to high and there is still some small leaking left…

Any help would have greatly appreciated and I do send you my very best regards over the pond

Heartily cheers from Switzerland,

Florian

Airforce  ???Texan .257 LSS top hat and o ring identification help please

I have a Texan .257 LSS. There is a o-ring directly behind the tanks top hat. I replaced the original with the orange o-ring in the picture.
For the life of me, I can't figure out what is the purpose of this o-ring. At least it's not obvious.

Can someone smarter than me, help me out?

Benjamin  Benjamin Gunnar issues, where to troubleshoot?

I've had the Gunnar for a few months now, It was doing some weird things on my last few outings, and I haven't really had time to troubleshoot until now. It seemed like it was shooting erratically, I could tell by the sound of some shots, and could see on the target where the shot would drop quite a bit. It wouldn't do it all of the time, just maybe once every 8-12 shots. I took it out today with a chrony, and verified very inconsistent shots. Here's a pic. My thoughts are possibly a regulator issue? Or is there something else I should check? I also noticed maybe one or two times on my previous outing, that the gun would not fully cock. I made sure that I was pulling the cocking lever all the way back, but it's like the bolt would not "catch" right, and had to be cocked again which of course caused a double feed...Again this only happened once or twice and may or not be related to the erratic shot FPS. Gun is pretty much new, nothing has been changed or modified. I know Benjamin is pretty good w/ warranty issues. I would prefer to fix it myself though if it is a minor issue.

FX  Crowns barrel is moving forward

Hey Guys and Gals,
My .25 crown is sliding forward an inch in 3 shots rasing h*ll with my shooting.
I have 6 orings degressed on the block side of the shroud nut. I've cleaned the interior of the block where the barrel assembly sides into, and still shoot my barrel towards the muzzle.
Any ideas on how to rectify it?
Thanks.

Texas Field Target -New Course map and Info

Texas Field Target - September 23rd 2023 Map and Course Info

Target and course map have been made for September. As a reminder, Members have a private course and range to shoot this Saturday from 9am to 9pm on our 10-125 yd / 20-100 FPE Field Target courses, plus the targets will be lit for night shooting! We will have 3 courses for 2 power classes open and 2 lanes for practice. Practice lanes will also have a chronograph set up for tuning, paper targets and will also be featuring the very first S&S Silhouette Field Targets, yet another addition to the finest field targets made. Dare to compare y’all!

TFT Members can shoot almost any airgun at our targets and practice range. See what your AAFTA Hunter rig or 20 FPE pistol can do out to 75+ yds, you might be suprised. Everything is bigger in Texas, so why not 20 fpe FT, right? The white course is for just that reason! Because we use all S&S targets for <100 fpe FT we can share targets between classes easily, which means members have more options and can shoot a wider range of energy levels in the same day and from the same lanes. Loop as many times as you like with ( almost) whatever airgun you like.

Red Course- <100 FPE, .30 cal max, pellets only
White Course - <20 FPE, pellets only
Blue Course - <20 FPE, pellets only

General rules for non-tournament shooting. ( Tournament rules may be different )

White Course - 10-75 yds Targets #1-3
Red Course 25-125 yds Targets #2-4
Blue Course 10-125 yds Targets #1-4

All distances will be given. Each course will use only 3 of the 4 targets per lane. White course targets in the 10-25 yd range are to be shot only with <20 FPE. Each course is a total of 36 shots, with 2 shots per target, 3 targets per lane and 6 lanes in total. Course of fire is near to far. There are no forced position lanes. Shooters may shoot from any position and may use seats without backrests, unattached bipods and slings. Both the Red and White courses are scored as hit or miss.

Blue Course - 10-125 yds
This is a challenge course following the same rules but with a very different scoring system. Shooters will have 6 shots maximum for each lane. Each target must be knocked down once and only once. Lane is completed after all 4 targets have fallen once OR a total of 8 shots have been taken, whichever is first. Best possible score is 4 on each lane with a best possible overall score of 24. Maximum overall score is 36. Targets are shot near to far. Scorecards are to be marked with hash marks under each target score space indicating shots taken, i.e., if it took Shooter A three shots to knock down a target, there would be three hash marks in the scoring space. OSOK!
