On all the airguns that I have/had on which reg adjuster can be accessed while rifle is pressurised, reg pressure could be lowered by turning the adjustment screw 1/8 of a turn or less and then shot a couple of shots and do it all again until pressure is lowered to desired level.

Is it the same with Delta/Alpha Wolf or do I have to literally follow the procedure and take the bottle off every time?

Hey everyone, i use a M3 in .25cal first reg at 175bar , second at 155 bar and use 41g slugs at 960-965fps on power setting 16 and for 33.95g king heavy mk2s at about 960fps i use power setting 10. Last night i was doing some chrono testing and i noticed the velocity would jump 10-15 fps higher when the second reg hadnt recovered properly ( it would stick at about 145bar) but after another shot was fired the plenum would refill properly and the second reg would then settle back to where it should be, thus giving me my normal expected velocity for the 33.95g pellets.
Is there anything i can do to remedy this slow reg recovery/sticking ? Would changing the second reg washer stack do anything? Or maybe install a huma reg??

Hi Guys Just ordered a Gamo Arrow.
I’m having issues with it.

Good accuracy open sights, (minute of squired at 20 m ) I’ve since added a decent Nikon scope and Warne rings and having massive issues with accuracy. Scope is fully adjusted windage and elevation and rifle shooting low and left at 20 or so feet.
Tried different ammo same issues.
I feel like the barrel and dovetail mount surface are not parallel.

Its not the scope as i took it off my deer rifle.

Any ideas?

Have problem with the Magazine for my new UMAREX Fusion 2. It was difficult to install and now it's stuck and I can't remove it. I shot all 9 pellets and the bolt is all the way back. Tried bumping it with a rubber mallet and it didn't move. HELP

Hello all, I am still very new to PCP rifles and was curious, can you set up your rifle with a remote tank like a paintball gun? I got a Gauntlet 30 and was wondering if instead of leaving the tank on the front if I could belt mount it and run a 400-bar hose from it to the rifle?

Group measures outside to outside .407”. 25 shots mostly 2 ring hold at 50y. .35 MOA ctc. . Pretty sure it’s my smallest to date….but maybe not. I don’t remember.

I first measured it without my magnifiers on. Bad idea. Lol

Recently I just picked up a aea HP Max 357 and before I got to the end of the first clip it was like something stayed open in the gun and all the air leaked out of the barrel and upon trying to refill it I can hear and feel the air coming out the barrel and I'm not sure what to do about it I've watched a couple videos and tightened valve inside of the tank and put it back on to no results I'm just wondering where I go from here

So first, my gauge went out on me it was telling me the gun was empty while I was shooting .30 at over 900fps then the a couple days later it started getting incredibly loud not at the muzzle which was suppressed with a ronin, but right by my ear to the point i can not shoot it without my ear ringing for a good while after. Any thoughts ? The gun was only about a month or so old at the time and probably had maybe 200 rounds through it. Any feedback would be appreciated. I have made no mechanical adjustments and nothing has been taken apart before or after this issue.

I am looking for some input on an air rifle I am considering purchasing. I'm considering the AEA Challenger Pro .25, donnyfl adapter, barrel band, and a saber tactical bottle clamp from the pellet shop.

My intent/goal/purpose is competing in my local guntry club's air rifle bench match as well as having some fun with long-distance plinking. I do not care about noise as I'll only be shooting at a range, plus I also plan to use a donnyfl fatboy 2.0 for funsies.

Given the total price of $943.97 ... what are some other air rifles in the almost at or not too much over $1000 range ... or is the AEA Challenger Pro my best choice?

From the information I gather the block and internal components are capable of 300 bar. Airmarksman and other brands offer 300 bar bottles and valves made for the FX airguns. What gives? *No anti-FX speculations please. Just real factual answers. Thanks

Just wondering with all thats available for tuning a fx crown mk2 ( tungsten hammer weight etc), what is a safe amount of power that it could be tuned to before any damage could occur due to excessive forces? I have found that 36.2g NSA slugs to be the most accurate at 875fps out of my .25 ( 65ftlbs) with a 600mm superior liner and reg pressure set to just under 150 bar. Could it be said that with my current barrel length, i am at my safe limit ?.

I recently purchased a new FX maverick Sniper configuration .25cal and have a question about my regulator pressures. I tried to do a tune on the regs of 95/70 after watching Steve's tuning video. I was able to achieve the first reg pressure of 95. However, when I turned in my second reg and degassed and regassed the gun, the smallest turn i could make on the 2nd reg adjuster brought my pressure up to about 85 bar. And when I say small adjustment I mean a hair turn. Getting frustrated after multiple attempts to get this tune i decided to go with a tune of 130/100. I noticed that after achieving this pressure, throughout the day, my reg pressure wound up reading 105. I'm wondering why I'm unable to achieve a second reg pressure below 80 and why I'm experiencing an increase in my second reg pressure throughout the day. I also haven't been able to hear my plenum fill after shots like in a lot of the tuning videos in the forums. From what I can tell, it seems as though the gun is acting differently from most. I'll also add my power wheel adjuster is set at 4. I'm no engineer and this is all new to me. I also set up the fx chronograph and my velocities seem to differ quite a bit. I give the gun time to adjust after each shot, but not being able to hear the plenum refill has me wondering what might be happening or if something is wrong. FX support states to contact the dealer support first so I did but thought I'd reach out on here to see if what I'm experiencing is normal or what I can try. I'm shooting only 26.54g JSB Hades Diablo pellets. One last question, I haven't checked to see which port, pellet or slug, is engaged. Which side needs to be oriented in which way to shoot pellets? Thankful for any help.

I live on a flood plane and as such the woods in my back yard has a ton of wild life. Is it dangerous to the environment if I'm constantly shooting lead pellets into the ground where all the animals are foraging? Over the years I have unloaded a bunch of tins. Whats the scoop?

Alright airgun geeks, I need your help with something. What is the equation to figure out how efficient an airgun is?

I've been using this equation but I believe it only gives me how much energy is produced per CC.

Reservoir: 300cc
Total air used: 250b starting pressure – 150b ending pressure = 100b
Total air used x total reservoir: 100b x 300cc = 30,000

Projectile: 25.4g @ 960fps for 47 shots
Ave energy per shot: 52fpe (70.5 joules)
Total energy: 70.5j x 47 shots = 3313j

Total air used x total reservoir / Total energy = Energy per CC
30,000 / 3313 = 9 joules per CC


Take for example another airgun with a larger reservoir, a smaller usable air range, lower shot count, and lower FPE. This results in more energy per CC.

Reservoir: 480cc
Total air used: 250b starting pressure – 180b ending pressure = 70b
Total air used x total reservoir: 70b x 480cc = 33,600

Projectile: 25.4g @ 940fps for 40 shots
Ave energy per shot: 48fpe (65 joules)
Total energy: 65j x 40 shots = 2600j

Total air used x total reservoir / Total energy = Energy per CC
33600 / 2600 = 12.9j per CC


But in my mind the 2nd airgun is less efficient because I'm getting less energy, less shots, less FPE, out of a larger air reservoir.

There must be a different equation to figure out "efficiency".
