Leshiy 2 REPR tuning

I have had my Leshiy 2 Raven .22 cal (350mm barrel, behemoth moderator) for a couple months now. I am struggling with groups across numerous projectiles flying at velocities that I have had great success with out of my other pcp rifles. I will get a consistent 5-6 shots half moa and then a couple fliers 1.5”-3” different poi in random directions at 30 yards.

I have checked all scope hardware torques, made sure moderator is secured tight onto the lugs, made sure all ammo is seated into the mags well free of dented skirts, and cleaned the barrel. SD’s across the mags are consistently 5-9.

Any suggestions on where to start with further trouble shooting?

30 cal hatsman blitz

I just returned one of these to amazon, and ordered another. The one I returned was very hard to cock back and lock. I used the diablo pellets and managed to get about 15 shots out and then the mag got stuck and would not come out. I think they sent me some one else;s return that they had problems with. The box was open not even taped up.

R9 cocking shoe galling

Hey guys hope alls well. My R9 has started galling on the inside of the compression tube where the shoe is making contact. The gun is early 2000s and has a macarri spring, spring guide and tophat. I’ve had the gun apart multiple times and have never had an issue. I’ve sanded to 600 grit on the cocking shoe, and on the tube where the shoe makes contact hoping it had developed a burr.
I feel like I’m not going about it right. I haven’t made the problem worse, but my efforts haven’t helped in the slightest. Sorry for the photo quality. Any help is much appreciated.

Beau

Starting over

Hi there ,

Its been sometime since I have owned an air rifle, but the time has come to get going again .
I have a short list and would value the opinions of those in the know and maybe avoid some of the pitfalls.
So here goes ;
1. Fx dreamline
2.Fx crown
3.Hw 100 k …
4.Air arms s 510

I live in Ireland all air rifles irrespective of power output are firearms and require a licence , as a result most air rifles that are imported run at FAC levels ( >12 ftlb) .
Air rifles are not very popular here unlike the Uk . So reliability is paramount or the ability to self service, as most gun dealers here are clueless about them . As for caliber 0.22 was my preference.
I would value your thought and experiences .
thanks
Dave

  • Question
FX Crown Mkll barrel position - pellets vs slugs

Own a FX Crown Mkll with two complete 600mm barrel assemblies.. One in .22 other.25 caliber. The Air Inlets on both barrels have a round port stamped “P” for pellets and a square/rectangular port stamped “S” for slugs. The barrels can be rotated 180 degrees. Question: If someone plans to shoot primarily pellets, should the round hole in the Inlet be positioned in an upward or downward direction? TIA

Impact M3 front regulator wont fill past 50 bar, Disassembled and No Sign Of Anything Wrong

The issue started when I took my gun out after it had been sitting a few days. It had been functioning perfectly up until this point. The bottle gauge read 20 bar. It had been at 210 bar when I last put it away. I took the bottle off and immediately the bottle began degassing until it was empty. I removed the bottle valve and took it apart. There were no damaged o-rings but there was some dark colored lube coating some areas inside the valve. Strange. I wondered how it had got in there. I removed the o-rings to clean them and where they were seated. Cleaned everything up. Lightly lubed the o-rings with silicone oil. Put the valve on the bottle, screwed on the bottle, it gassed up to 100 bar. I unscrewed the bottle and no degassing occurred. Great.

Screwed the bottle back on. Bottle gauge read 100 bar, but the first reg read 50 bar. I've always kept the first reg at 200 bar, so it should be at 100bar as well. I removed the bottle to confirm that the first reg screw was set the number of turns that it always has been. It was.

So I removed the first reg and took it apart. There was a little of that dark-gray colored lube on the surfaces inside. I cleaned it up, but could find nothing wrong with the o-rings, washers, no obvious blocks over the tiny holes. The plunger surfaces looked flawless. I disassembled everything, cleaned, added fresh silicone oil on the o-rings. Restacked the bellville washes just as they had been before. Reattached 1st reg. Screwed on the bottle and the bottle gauge went to 100 bar but the 1st reg gauge rapidly bounced between 50 and 80 bar for about 2 seconds, settling at 50 bar.

Don’t know what to do at this point. Maybe one of the little holes in the reg has some of that strange dark grey lube or other debris clogging it? If so, how would I clean out such a tiny hole?
Let me know if anyone has any ideas.
Thanks guys.
