N/A  .177 for slugs (primarily at least)?!

I use slugs beyond 90.. I'm saying i wouldn't mind if i could find a setting that extends the reliable accuracy of the 13.4 cylindrical monsters to 85. I have a few spots for them. the MRD and KO.s i'm fine with at range. Just have A LOT of the monsters. Be nice to use them. Be more efficient? Efficiency is fine. I'm saying I dont know what the Standard Katran L Pressure range is. UA, and AMaks made it out that "it really should be sent in to be adjusted". I assume when i'm told that there has to be some serious reason, like the gun has a really delicate balance between the valve and reg. Or if the Standard Reg is only meant to operate between 90-125-130? If they're just attempting to get service fees out of me then i'm comfortable doing it myself. It is a pain constantly adjusting. Degas, Pull tube, Pull reg, refill, repeat. It's not so serious that i'm going to go nuts if i can't find a heavier slug that performs like the KO's. Just definitely wouldn't mind it.
I gotcha now,

N/A  Uragan 2? Shot count etc

Thanks for the reply. I saw an Air Bros review and he was saying he got 50 shots. With you getting 100 plus shots that’s encouraging 👍. Is it difficult tuning it, from what I’ve seen the stock needs to be removed.
The tune on his gun was probably wonky then if he was only getting 50 shots. I've set this gun up to 66fpe and was getting over 50 shots. Adjusting the speed isn't hard but it is tedious as you need to degas the gun, remove the bottle, the reg and adjust the reg. Every quarter turn is about 25-30b of pressure. You would still need to adjust the balance valves to achieve the perfect balance and that's trickier to do, but I haven't had the need to mess with that.

Sheridan  Sheridan will not cock

Sent the Sheridan to Mike Baker. After several days of working on it on and off, he called me and advised it was not worth fixing. Mike said the gun has several non-standard gun parts, including Benjamin plus other things that must be fixed. He rattled off a half-dozen things wrong with the gun. What I can remember is something in the air chamber was stripped, the bolt was from a Benjamin, the stock screw was non standard and several other things. I can see why the gun sometimes misfired when cocking and the bolt was extremely loose. Mike said he had $75 repair cost in the gun so far but said fixing all the problems would be too expensive compared to the worth of the gun. He offered to send me a fully functional Sheridan Blue Streak in exchange for the $75 repair cost plus just $19 shipping cost. I paid $70 to ship it to him by Pirate Ship. Unbelievable. The gun he sent me is beautiful and shoots great. Mike is honest and talented as the day is long.
X2. Bought a 397 from Mike that he had rebuilt. Great gun at a fair price. Going to be sending him a 78G to reseal. Mike's great to work with, glad it worked out.

Adapter for a 1/8 BSP

Thank you guys , finally found a place that could ship the adapter.. 1/4 NTP male to 1/8 BSPP male to PR .. will put 3 of the adapter for sale because they only shipped in Package of 6 .. was surprisingly to me that these fill assembly has gone from $145 to $230 + to fill your airgun . The broken part price was $7 for the adapter $20 for the hose n $20 huma extension . Problem solved for another 10 years for $50

Looking for a Neighborhood friendly Silencer for the Huben GK1 .25

The gk1 is not designed nor do the specs call for 80fpe in that pistol. Do folks push it to that point yes, but at a risk.
We have tested our moderator to 50FPE in the GK1 and the shorty GK1 w 33.95g, that in our shop is max power for the GK1. I do beleive the manual states 45joules is the range out on the GK1. I have not tested the moderator on the GK1 to 80fpe nor will we.
We have had several gk1 pistols in the shop to replace the sear catch arm and the trigger arm due to folks pushing the limit, just a word of caution.
Have we tuned airguns beyond factory, yes, but we take the time to replace or improve on any parts we think will not handle the new specs.
We use this moderator for our Taurus which produces 360fpe in .357 with no issues albiet at that level provides a 60% reduction in muzzle sound with 7 baffles.
Thank you folks
Regards

Dimesions are L: 6.0inches Dia.: 1.26inches base unit includes 5 segments.
Thank you! Fantastic reply and insight on the GK1.

How to zero a FFP scope

zero your scope at your airgun pellets top of apex point. speed and weight of pellet determine this.
satrt shooting at 20 yards and move the target in one yard increments until pellet begins to drop... that's you apex.

At one yard increments? Just what I want to hear, more excuse to shoot my toy...ha!

FX  Regulator Fail FX Impact Mk II?

Huma makes great stuff and the owners of Huma along with their customer service are both superb👊👍👍!!
Just know that one day when your Huma reg needs servicing(like all regs do)that you’ll be dealing with this.
If you’re not the patient type that needs a haircut, then this reg is for you! Your hair will be all over your work bench, ha ha, and you’ll learn new cuss words!!
Just resealed one today. Patience is key. It’s working awesome

N50 in flippy wind

Here is the wind from yesterday. I shot only one card when it was this heavy. About 15-28 mph. I went to using a 1/2" thick rubber horse stall mat as a target stand backer so I could keep the cards from blowing off all the time without using 20 pins. Haha

I watched the video Mike. Very strong head wind on all 3 flags.

Different geos have much stronger wind, than what we are used to at our local gun ranges. I can’t recall a single day when I shot in wind like that. In fact, I would not drive 30 minutes to the range if the wind was that fierce.

But, I will be trying to shoot in some cross winds if I can get them. Strangely, I like mild tail winds and head winds, which seem to be much of what I get here. Candidly, my winds are normally less than 5 mph. Sometimes a bit higher, but most of my target challenges are at 30-40 yards with low FPE guns and pellets. The 10 ring on these targets is .125” so I have to shoot in light wind to score.

Evanix  Difference between Evanix Rex-FA and Evanix Ibex

Is there any internal difference between the Evanix Rex FA and Ibex except the different look, and do they have the same power level?

On the Evanix website its stated that both guns share the same barrel length, but I think this information is maybe outdated, since the newest Rex FA model isn't displayed on their website.

TXED012 Tuxing compret

I don't know if you seen my post under tanks ,pumps , compressors but I started one called Vevor JUNK.
This is the reason I started this post.
They moved it here to tanks , pumps , compressors. Everyone has been great help. This can help save me from making the same mistake twice. It has been a real pleasure to learn from everyone here. I want to chat with you about a recent development concerning these Tuxing machines.
I don't know how to PM , or what that stands for. Can you text me

Crosman  Crosman Challenger 2021, Breech Opening?

I am looking at the Crosman Challenger 2021 but I have a concern that hopefully some of you can answer.

I have Very large hands, worked as a machinist my entire adult life, my concern is that opening to install the pellet looks pretty small..

Any 1st hand knowledge would be appreciated
If you buy it from airgun revisions, Rich Dudek can do for you what he did for me
design and machine breech to accept a single shot loader

Air Tank Safety

I wonder if it was one of these. I saw one in Lowe’s a couple days ago, appears to have very little oxygen in it because it was extremely lightweight.
Both of those workers were very lucky that they weren’t hit with shrapnel. Obviously a garbage truck has lots and lots of paper products. And other disgusting things. Kudos to the worker that quickly ran and got a fire extinguisher and kept an eye on the fire that ensued.

Fx magazine spring specs needed.

I collected 3 mags since 2020 and one - the oldest - was making me trouble in life.
Back about 2-3 years ago I got couple of these new springs from my local FX dealer.
The "original" springs got an update along the line.

No need to spend $ on other mags the FX is working just perfect ... eventually with some tweaking ....
And in my eyes the FX molded mags looks more cosmetically pleasing as well, that those 3d printed looks like made with chisels.

Alkin compressor outsmarted me , Or just dumb

I do a hot fill to 5000 every time. If it's just a top off.....(3500 to 5000) I end up at about 4600 -4700 psi. If a fill from empty on an 88 cu ft.........5000 usually cools down to around 4150 -4200 psi . My pressure relief is set to 5000.

The old Air Gun Nation

I have been here since 2018, I lurked for about a year before joining. I still have my 22 cal silver streak that was my first, it’s probably 35 years old. Me and dad use to shoot it because I was too small to pump it. My uncle had a really old 20cal Benjamin and wish I could have ended up with it. Just to sit back with mine. This group has some very good people with very good information. You just have to wade through some of the craziness and the good guys will help. I’ve been lucky and had some really good guys reach out to help me with issues and advice.
FYI, All Sheridan's are .20 caliber. No .22 were ever sold.
Have fun!
