What distance were you and what fps and reg setting do you like for these slugs. Just got my 357 yesterday. Reg 140 shot the 174 HA today @ 730fps 206fpe.

Same as above. I had the 34mm 4.5-30X56 MOA ELR FFP Toric and it was a fantastic scope, glass wasHave any owners of Tract scopes utilized their Trust Assurance lifetime warranty? If so, how was your experience in that process?
I was reading over their warranty today and it looks good. You can read it in the link below.

That's one thing we can all agree on!Man, there's a lot of new guns out. Gonna be a good year.
I hadn't looked at it for a couple of years. It is the beech stock and not the deluxe. It is a 20 cal. Metal is perfect and the stock has what appears to be very small paint marks like it was bumped. I believe there is only one that I can actually see a slight dent in the finish. Some of the marks appear light enough that they may be able to be polished out.Blue Book will show pricing (subjective) and models...
Thanks Jace. Super excited.I am glad you were able to get the main issue fixed so easily, soon you'll be abke to fully enjoy the ranchero!
Exactly thisI'm really not bashing it. To be honest I wish I had one. Fascinating guns! I'm just glad there are people pointing out what potential buyers NEED to be aware of before getting into one.
I agree. Focus on getting a really tight group at 50 yards, and then go out to 100. 50 is a good distance to get your fundamentals down because at 50 there are a lot more variables to consider, so its harder to tell how much is your error vs the environment.how good are your groups at 50 yards? your tune and form need to be able to produce 50 yard groups under 1/2” or under 1” at 100 is not going to happen on purpose.
Any wind and especially a variable one at 100 yards will wreak havoc on your goal even with slugs.
your goal is admirable, but it is much harder than most people think to make it happen.
I have a call into Crossman's tech support. I guess there's one person at the shop who handles these things and was out. I'm expecting a call back - I hope. You could call Baker Airguns or crossman and see if they can help
So same trigger as the AEA? Ive heard mixed reviews, only the youtubers and donny say it is great, other owners not so much.As far as weight, it is around 9 pounds and I've paired mine with the Element Optics Immersive 5x30 which is a lightweight wide field of view optic. The additional weight comes from features that come standard like the longer arca rail and folding stock. The barrel in this thing is also more of what I call a precision focused barrel vs. other shrouded barrels I've seen on other rigs. That heavier weight barrel is what has made the Karma brand known for extreme precision to include a few top podium spots with the Red Panda. So those larger precision barrels do add a bit of weight, but I'll take that additional weight for the level of precision this arigun offers.
While it may share the AEA core, it has DonnyFL behind it, so support will be quite good. I also would imagine that the deficiencies like the poppet have been directly addressedThanks for sharing these, I checked Kuben K1 and it's looking like a pretty solid option!
However I forgot to mention that I prefer a carbine build instead of bullup.
Also the Karma SLS Compact you mentioned fits perfectly my needs, however as I mentioned above it shares the same core with AEA SF Compact, which is known to have reliability issues as mentioned by other users here.
Eventually I will probably go for Karma SLS Compact if no other options fit these specs.
When I received mine I had been anticipating the BB firing equivalent of an M60 machinegun, so when I opened the box it came in and saw how lightweight and cheap it was I was pretty disappointed. It would spray BB's like a hose until it iced up though and my parents didn't have any objections to it. I believe the clamshell yoke that held the freon can eventually cracked and that was the end of it. There have been some much better BB machineguns made since then, most of which are still available today, so this is one instance where I don't feel any nostalgia for the good old days. When I opened the box my dad wouldn’t let me try it until he did. We went to the hardware store and got Freon. He said stand back just in case she blows. He wanted to send it back immediately because it was made of plastic. Nothing was plastic with airguns back then.
