Pumps and compressors

I have the huben hand pump. It's not cheap. It has a feature that I like, the ability to add silicone oil to it without taking it apart, a feature which i think has led to increased lifespan without a rebuild. I had a hill mark 4 and I prefer the huben pump
I just looked it up. Turn out it's a really good one too. I wouldn't mind spending the money on it. Thanks for the lead.

Kral Arms  Kral puncher Nish .22 seal problems at the breech

Hi guys,

since a short time I own this rifle in the 7.5 Joule configuration, thats around 5.5 fpe, more is not free available in germany.
The rifle ist an .22 and in the open version it should fire around 35 Joule at normal.

As I first testet it and tried to shoot the scope to zero, I realize that there was not power enougt and I could see the pellets flying, as also the scope didn´t reach to get it on the spot at 20 meters.
I also noticed air blow on my hand near the magazin, what´s not normal I think.

Today I could check it again, because my cheap Chroni from Aliexpress arrived at home and the results are a Joke - I got a middle of 4.6 Joule aka 3,4 fpe and an V0 of around 95 -100m/s, thats a Joke.

Now I will pull the barrel as soon as my order of o-rings arrive, I´m pretty sure the inner barrel o-ring is damaged.

I ordered a bunch of o-rings for the gun.

For the inner barrel I orderet -009 o-ring in 70 and 90 shore as also some others nearly in that measerment rang, I will see what will go with the gun.

I will also check the size of the installed brass power adjuster und maybe make the port a lil bit bigger, the normal one with 4mm port was allready in the package with the gun.

Target practicing in woods; in Trouble NEED HELP!

It sounds like the OP has gotten his answer... shooting on state land in Massachusetts is prohibited. Any legal advise should be obtained from his lawyers. The OP may start a new thread after the issue has been resolved to share any advice he has for other airgunners.

AEA  HP ss plus

When tearing your gun down make sure it is uncocked. It can be a knuckle buster if the sear lets loose during tear down. My + gets dirty about every 500 rounds and requires a cleaning. You can get by short term by spraying Tri Flow into the receiver, but to Firewalkers point if you have lead down into the mechanism tear down has to be done.

Snowpeak  FPS Problem

I have had to increase the hammer spring a little from a minus 5% velocity setting to get the first shot velocity consistent with subsequent shots in my P35s. Sometimes I do not go as low as -5% if the accuracy a bit higher looks better. My Caiman had a low first shot too for awhile but I was more than 5% below the peak. I normally shoot 3 to 5 shot groups as I go down to get a better idea of the velocity and to check accuracy.

Zulus night vision scopes

the DNT Zulus non/LRF does wonders for me pesting at night on farm critters, and rats play a major role in my feed storage barns. thermal is nice, but you really dont need it if you can get within 30yrds.
my rats get big here...... :sneaky:
I had a rat come out of my burn pile a month ago I think I could've saddled!

I'm planning on using it on multiple platforms one being coyote. Hopefully the thermal and pip would be a benefit. You're supposed to be talking me into the thermal not out of it! 😁 I appreciate the input. My next problem will be when my son wants one on his. $$$

Can anyone help me source the connectos I need for my Sperian 30 min SCBA bottle?

Just barely cracking the valve will not work at all, please do not try. A pressure regulator is required. A valve can only control pressure if airflow is occurring. Either fill the air bottle only to your guns maximum PSI or add a pressure regulator to the air bottle.
When i was talking about "just barely cracking the valve" I did mean once I had the Dream Valve and 4500 psi bottle added, thanks for the warning.

The cheap ebay fill whip arrived and I've been filling the stock air tank off my 30min bottle no problems!

I'm still waiting on the Dream Valve. Takes a long time!

Just Watched The RMAC YT Vid...

That rest is ridiculously expensive!
did you google the most expensive rest available?
Many rest are available for 1/5 the cost of that one ..which seems rather bland

Here is a front rest that i have purchased this year.
This is the 1st year of this rest bieng offered and it is incredible...the quality is 1st class and the price is economy
This one is made by a top maker of F-class front rests ( SEB) son Christopher
You have to be on a list for a year to get one of SEB's rests ...Christophers' rests are in stock for delivery
I wasn't suprised to see several of them at this years EBR

Need help with PM

Read the forum rules re: new members "probation" period. 10 meaningful posts/10 days(?) before you can PM someone. You can GET PM's but not SEND any yet. Aggravating to some but helps with scammers. Lot of people WARY of dealing with a person who has no history of transactions or reputation too. CYA (Cover Yer Arse) baby! Don't take it personally. You can always post with their names in the title too if you desire contact.

HW/Weihrauch  Stippling a 97K factory stock..

You can strip with baking soda really well. Especially down in the checkering. They make little airbrush blasters that do insanely good stripping in tiny places. If you get the media and pressure right it's very aggressive on the finish but hardly touches the wood. You can easily take out any blasting marks with 320 grit with a quick once over.

The soda blasters are cheap (harbor freight) and do a great job at a lot of things from erasing graffiti to headlight lenses. It won't raise the grain on wood at all if your careful.

Eastwood has little airbrush size blasters that can be used with a template for texturing and etching with Silicon or ceramic media too.
