Not a problem. The moderators usually see things and move them where they are supposed to be.
Center punch.Greenbeans, I'm seeing there are two types of AEA 33.9gr pellets on the Utah Air website. There's the 'Center Punch Diabolo' and the '.25 Diabolo Pellet Heavy (+)'. Which one are you having the best luck with? Thanks, Joe
Original poster said he is only shooting set distances 25,50,100 at targets that’s why clicking makes more sense, I have my field target guns set up with duel numbers on my wheel one is for clicking the other holdover one is strictly for ft the other is for pesting and ft and benchrest so I do use both methods just depends on what discipline I’m shootingThat works great in a match where every shot counts. It sucks when plinking shotgun shells from 20-75 yards. You have to learn your transitions instinctively or you wind up spending more time estimating range and adjusting your scope.
Once again you do your best and learn from your misses. Pretty soon your instinctive hold over becomes mighty close. The best shot in the field is the guy that can learn from his misses quickly.
Imagine hunting jackrabbits and having to dial a scope! Or shotgun shells that jump 5-20 yards with each hit. You just aren't going to dial every shot. Your going to have to learn to hold over instinctively and then know how to correct for error whether it be elevation or windage.
What makes sense in the rarified air of competition shooting is often contrary to how you shoot in practical applications.
There is no way I could compete in a match with guys who dialed every shot. That's precision. On the flip side a guy that can't make instinctive transitions is going to come up short when plinking or hunting. I'll hit a shotgun shell 6-8 times and knock it completely off the range by the time you could click for your second shot. Yes I'll miss a couple times. But I can hit more times in a shorter amount of time. Instinctive accuracy will trump precision every time in most shooting situations outside of a target range.
So I suppose it's all just a matter of what works best in your situation. If you have the time and a stationary target clicking may be the best way to make every shot count. Shooting a target that repositions itself every few seconds is a completely different ball game.
Good to knowWhen my Boss was acting squirrelly I rebuilt the OEM twice but couldn't get it right, decided on replacement with the Huma on Centercut's suggestion. Glad I listened. Just a heads up, some rebuild kits for the Boss DON'T include the exterior reg o-rings! They're 11.91x2.62 Buna 70.
Great prices. Products look solid. Just need this market to turn around so I can afford fun stuff again.
Although somewhat beastly to shoulder at age 68, the chassis is superb for me on a bench…. Although I will shoot Hft with it occasionally, I expect all my forced position lanes will be drive by shots or zero after all two lbs is TWO POUNDSWhile most would argue against the aesthetics, I love the functionality of chassis’s.
Sometimes I brain shoot them. It depends on how stable and confident I feel about the shot. Heart/lung shots provide more margin for error. I’ve accidentally hit a few squirrels in the jaw and I hate seeing them suffer.I see that you shoot them between legs and neck? I prefer to shoot at the head so that my meat doesn't bruise. Other than that you have great shots.
Thanks for that. Gives me a good idea.Slug port with pin probe. Just over two mags. 300cc, 250 bar bottle.
You need to use code thankyou as one word. No spaces.Doesn’t work for me. Probably an excluded itemView attachment 511389
Loud & proud 'round here. With all the suppressed night-time shooting out here I don't mind barking the Bulldog every so often at night. In the evenings and on weekend mornings it's pretty common to hear folks shooting on their property. The moderator is to keep from spooking the animals, not the people in these parts.Great thing about living in the country with neighbors that all shoot, they dont care what I shoot so Im
Dont think I could live where I had to worry about it.
Nice!Love all three! Great triggers and hit the target when I do it right. Charles

I used the Maccari tuning kit ( not the soft one ) Polished springs ends really wheel and polished the faces of the compression tube where cocking shoe slidesYou use ARH green seals? I've had good luck but you do need to get the seal to where it slides some in the chamber when you push on the piston. I prefer Vortek piston seals, but could not find them in FWB 124. I used a spring ARH called the Twister. Getting 830 fps out of it. What spring did you use? You seem to be getting very good velocities out of the 124.
