N/A  New airgun range

one problem is shooters ability or just goofing around ?. At my range we built a new pistol 40 foot steel plate range . we made the 3 sided berm 12 feet higher than the targets.
Sounds good right ? NO we found holes in the trees just in back of the new range above the total 17 foot high berm (12 feet higher than the targets )
I took my brother in law to the range one time and one time only because he was that idiot.

FX  FX Crown regulator??

I view the Crown as the successor of the Royale, with easier adjustment. I don't think they're at all hard to work on. I can strip and seal a Crown of it's critical orings in 45 minutes or so. Now the Impact....I love 'em, but they're a bit of a turd to work on. There's just so much to deal with going wrong. BUT, when they shoot, they shoot really well indeed. I'd still love to get my hands on an unmolested Mk2 with PP, and I'd be a happy camper.

FX pushes the limits, no question, and that seems to be why they outsell all others.

N/A  Chronograph readings being accurate

I’ve got the barrel end ones and a Shooting Chrony knockoff along with my old Shooting Chrony.
The Chinese ones are superior to the Shooting Chrony in that they’re less finicky with lighting.
For the less than $20 price I have no desire for $500 ones. I just read here that Athlon may be
coming out with a Garmin type thats hundreds less. If so I will get it.

Gamo  Purchased a Gamo Magazine on Sale and Have Problems

It is the inner rotating holes that are not aligning correctly (centering) with outside hole). So, dremeling the outside hole won't fix the problem as the pellet probe is hitting the edge of the inside rotating holes. Dremeling all of the inside holes would make them all ovals which would make all the pellets loosely flopping around in a large oval hole. Furthermore, there is only a very thin wall between the internal rotating holes so there is very little to work with. Am I not understanding you, or are you not understanding me? Please clarify if I am missing something.

Rattler 357 1st shots

I'm new at this forum stuff. Oh, I see, has my general location. But not my address.
Just pointing out that when you tried to post a picture it showed your file directory which had your name in the file path, just from a security standpoint something you want to avoid just remove your post that I replied to

Umarex  Notos M-Lok Metal Rail

I would love to see a simpler, more utilitarian replacement stock for my macavity MA2..

I love the rifle, but really don’t like the stock.

Something more similar to America air arms EVOL would be ideal with a rail along the bottom of the tube..

It would be essentially a pic rail along the bottom with a trigger gaurd and ar grip mount and then up to the ar stock mount..
I’ve worked on some stuff with Buck Rail. I will check with him to see if he is releasing a stock for it. I agree with you, the platform seems great, but the looks of it aren’t the best.

Howdy from North Texas

You might want to get AOAs opinion before you buy
Got to talk to AOA today. Got a used Daisy 888 and used Crosman 2300S bought. With the 887 we are set the heck up. Well maybe we need one more pistol 😉. Thanks for the heads up.

25 cal slugs vs. 22LR

I've got an HW99s in .22 unmolested and it is sublimely accurate and easy shoot with very little recoil compared with my Hatsan Striker in .25. The Hatsan is a totally different beast and I haven't hunted with it or done any pest control yet, but for smiles it's the one!
My 99 is almost surgical and .22 is the perfect caliber for it. It's my go to for any job that's required.

JTS 18gr vs JSB 20.83gr KO slugs

I have been shooting the JSB KO 20.83gr .216 slug at 980fps out of my barra 250z and it has remained a tack driver and I haven't had to clean the barrel yet, with about 150 slugs shot. I love this slug. This is the first .22 that I have shot that is beyond the 32fpe range of power, and it is a completely different animal. It's much more like a .25 caliber at this point, which is my favorite caliber, and this is joining that status level fast. Thanks for this thread Dillon, it was extremely helpful to me!
