AEA  Rifle won't Fill from Bottle - Fill Port Issue?

Quick Question. I am trying to fill my AEA Challenger Pro and I have the tank at about 4K PSI but the rifle won't fill.. Fill port is screwed in all the way.. I must be missing something obvious?

EDIT - Solved.. Looks like the fquick disconnect fittings were not compatible and even unscrewed no air was coming out of fill port. I think I remember reading that not all the connections are made the same..

FX  Need Help: FX Chronograph Warranty Issue After Dealer Closure

I write this not out of anger, but with a heavy heart and a lingering hope that someone, somewhere, might still care. Weeks ago, I reached out to fx team with a plea for help regarding my fx Chronograph a device I once trusted and cherished. Today, I write one final time, not to demand answers, but to mourn the silence I’ve been met with.

I am not here to shame or accuse. I am simply a loyal customer who believed in your brand’s promise of quality and support. When my fx radar chronograph failed, I didn’t ask for favors—I offered to PAY for repairs, replacements, or any solution you could provide. But my emails vanished into the void. My forum post, public and earnest, was met with indifference. Even as I sit here, disheartened and stranded in a country where this device cannot be repaired locally, I’m left wondering: Is this what loyalty earns? A wall of silence?

This isn’t just about a failed product. It’s about trust shattered, hope dissolved, and the quiet resignation of realizing that even the most respected brands can make a customer feel invisible. I had hoped your company would stand by its products, stand by the people who believed in you. Instead, I’ve been left with a paperweight and a lesson learned.

To others reading this: Let my experience be a reminder. Research not just the product, but the integrity of those behind it. A brand’s true colors show not in glossy advertisements, but in how they treat customers when things go wrong.

To FX Airguns, I’ll say goodbye now. I won’t reply again, nor will I wait for a response I’ve come to accept may never come. But know this: A single act of accountability could have saved a customer. Instead, you’ve lost one forever.

With regret
Your broken customer

New pest outside

I had a pet crow as a kid and he was very smart. I actually was able to teach him to say a few words although not as clear as the Red Wing Blackbird I had later. I wa told they both are related to Myna birds who are very smart. My Crow used to bring me little shiny presents like gum wrappers or bottle caps.

Crows and ravens are very smart, some have passed the mirror test, they use tools to manipulate their environment and have generational memory as do primates. Starlings are rather stupid compared to crows but still plenty smart to figure out something is not quite right when their buddy explodes in a cloud of feathers and red mist. I have been able to get several at a time from passerby flocks as they come back to study their fallen buddy. After that, they never come back.

I have a bluebird trail. I clear out the HOSPs and they too will become very skitish requiring me to up my game on them. Last spring there was a male HOSP pestering one of my bluebird pairs. The HOSP went from atop the box to a small tree and the male bluebird followed and sat on a limb about 8 inches to one side and the female came and sat about the same distance to the other side as they looked him over. No worries bluebirds, the .25 M-Rod has your back. Range about 40 yards, I disintegrated the HOSP with a JSB 34 at over 900 fps. The remains fell to the ground. Both bluebirds looked over at me and then the male flew down and pecked at the dead remains. The female started fluttering around and then zoomed back into her nest box and the male proudly alighted atop. :)

Adding extension tube to Emperor

I have the Emporer+Extension for my full size CF .457 Texan, and while it seems to lessen the bark some to me, its still loud. Not to mention it makes this already long rifle ungodly longer
At least you don't need a scope anymore. You can even poke the target first. Easy. 😅

Thomas Air  Thomas HPX O-ring replacement

Would that be dry powder, liquid or grease?
Dry, but a good way of doing it is mix the WS2 powder 50/50 with alcohol in an eye drop bottle. Applied to threads, the suspension flows out very nicely into the threads and then the alcohol quickly evaporates. No mess, no waste.

Shake well before each use.

N/A  First PCP arrived today

What would you have went with? I’m pretty happy with it so far, outside of the little scratches that were on the barrel.
I like the must the .25 Cal.

Whenever I go hunting something bigger than jackrabbits, I take a .30 Cal.

Already took two javalinas with a Ghost .30 Cal a year ago. That Ghost is now my cousin's. He bought also a .22 Cal for birds.

Along many years I have collected many PCPs, from .357 (only have two) to .177 (only have four).... .357 and .177 are the calibers I use the less.

This season I took four javalinas, two with .30 Cal and two with .25 Cal.

Three years ago I took a white tailed deer with .30 Cal. Other three white tailed deer I have taken with PCP were taken with .357 Cal.

For almost everything .25 is better than .22.... But for small birds .22 Cal is enough.

More weight on projectile helps to deal with wind. Also a slug is better for long distance accuracy.

With PCPs shot placement is the name of the game. PCPs kill with size of wound. Bigger calibers make wider wounds.

The best All around Air rifle scope

You were right. It seems fine. I mounted it this evening and it seems great so far. You have to realize though, i have only ever used the cheap included scopes on cheaper break barrels that are sold with a scope. So to me this thing is awesome. Will be trying to zero it in tomorrow!
Good to hear buddy!

Air rifle Challenge

Spring is coming up fast, time to get outside and stretch out those long range shots! Similarly to the AD Long Rangers challenge, you purchase a small target and in one take film yourself shooting the target/object as far away as you can.. Whoever makes a hit at the furthest confirmed distance by the deadline date wins the cash prize (to be determined)..
