So true! That's why I mumble to myself A LOT on a daily basis shooting my RAW because when I miss I KNOW IT'S ALL ON ME....I shoot rimfire and centerfire BR so the Rodzilla Raptor was justified and works great. I like the protektor bag, it’s a little bulky but it’s heavy and stays put.
i always say that as long as you have good equipment then you are the only one to blame when you shoot poorly
That's a lot of dry firing. Even at low pressure. If you want to burn up the seals and possibly damage your valve, go right ahead but I would strongly advise against it. Your gun though. Why can't you cycle the gun to remove the air?
What’s the internal difference between a regular springer and a magnum, besides maybe bigger springs and xfer ports? Are they made of the same stuff or something stronger, etc?A stronger spring will yield more power but only to a point. An incremental gain as you are stuck with a fixed volume of air to compress, a fixed transfer port size and a pellet that’s going to start moving when a certain pressure is applied.
Better to buy a magnum springer if that is your performance goal rather than try to make one of lesser capabilities something it’s not.
Totay I am going to try filling the gun by followind these steps. What did you find as the problem?
Have you ever tried the RWS Basics? They are a flat head target pellet. They work great indoors and are very economical.Shooting cans is fun stuff.
I've found the H&N .177 FTT to be a great low power springer pellet. They're my primary pellet for 10meter offhand shooting for cold winter nights in the garage.
