no kin in PA , i drive get a hotel room , go to show , drive home . Although this is a first show for them so ill drive up Thursday and help set up friday / show on saturday , probably stay to help break down and drive home sunday . Think closest show to you might be in Main or NewStevie Ray played in my hometown in the late eighties. My wife was flying around on a broom that week, I couldn’t go. It’s the only thing I’ve held against her to this day. And still married to her.
As far as the Theoben. I need no encouragement. Never had the opportunity or even seen one. I’d buy it in a NY second if I came across one. Thanks Crow
Stan, you guys are so lucky, to go to these shows. I would love to go to one. I’d settle for a tour through a pawn shop. I do have relatives in PA. One day I’ll make it down. Crow
And all these years, I thought that was HER decision?!?It’s a hobby. And like many others, it depends upon how deep off in it you’d like to go.
That's a beauty and I do like weight in some of my target guns I agree that it adds stability, this one is more for ratting so quick pointing is a plus. Yes I am discovering that the rabbit hole goes way too deep on the 13xx's but that's the fun in em rightFwiw, I think even with metal parts these guns are still pretty light. Honestly I prefer more weight. IMO, makes for a more stable gun. Translates into more accurate shots. I've got 2 1322s myself. One is a pcp, and it is very heavy. Heavier than my all steel 5" .45 acp 1911. The pumper, I don't know the weight of, but it still feels light ish. Steel thread adaptor, steel breech, aluminum barrel band. Used to have a solid brass piston, but now has a composite one. Has dense African rosewood grips. Dense grips can have a pretty significant positive affect on stability and accuracy as well. I have ebony ones on the other one.
Of course theres plenty of reasons to want a light gun. And the rabbit hole is deeso, sometimes it's best to keep it simple and effective. Effective being the most importaint aspect.

Longer FX friendly female quick-disconnect fitting. Used to fill PCP airguns with recessed fill port like the FX Airgun. One end has 1/8 Female NPT Threads and the other has the Extended Female quick-connect.airtanksplus.com
I can provide the OD later today.
I used to do that until I realized 1/4 turn is equal to about .007”. I’ve since marked the top & face of the knob when four lines out with a stripe of white electrical tape and can easily distinguish 1/8 turn. Much faster and no caliper needed. I used four lines as my starting point since one revolution isn’t equal to one line. Thanks for the positive feedback.
On thing I forgot to mention.... I measure the Valve with a digital caliper.
I do not use the rings as a measurement tool. The calipers are much more accurate.
