FEI: It is not a batch problem it is a quality, consistent, machining and measuring problem. None of the AEA big bores runs consistent barrel i.d. sizing. They have been told this from the beginning, years ago, and failed to correct the issue. So the end user must deal with it by sourcing the correct ammo or liner sleeving the barrel to the diameter and quality he wants.

Trying to keep as much space as possible in my garage/shop, I stuffed a 5HP 2-stage 80gal air compressor in my tiny downstairs bathroom. It had a similar effect when it would unexpectedly top-up.

now if you look at Chambers parts diagrams the HW95 and the 55 use the same rivet so the pin and clip would be a good solution
not factory but better than
you could get someone to clean the breech block up also

Not a problem, that sucks the nut is aluminum, it's hard to see it but does look like it has been rounded off.

@qball You're pretty on point. I read about the hardness of lead-free pellets and ricochets in the thread as well. The backstop will be large rolls of hay. Thanks for the tips.

Bullet Central had an excellent sale on several pellets in the recent past.
FX branded 25.4 .22 caliber pellets for $11.27 per 350 tin.
They only have a few calibers and sizes left....

They are not all like that, mine only needs one penny. I read that some brands of CO2 cartridges are slightly longer, but the pennies work just fine too. Put some lube on that charging lever (bolt); Pelgunoil or whatever you use on the CO2 cartridges is fine. Put some on the bolt too; I remember all the moving parts on mine were dry and a little gritty when new.
All is forgiven when it is accurate!
