EDgun  Edgun Lelya 2.0

Good to know and thanks for let us know. What did you order instead?
I got in contact with Joost at airgunheavean- Great communication and is actually interested in what you want and giving you quality service. With that said I ordered a Lelya 2.0 in .22, Huma Reg installed for 25 bucks, another 25 for shipping. I do NOT have the gun so as of this post I can not state anything on the gun. But Joost earned my $2K order( I ordered other stuff).

N/A  New to guns

If you want quick and easy go PCP. Very expensive if you go top shelf. If you want to learn a new skill, be amazed at the accuracy, and have a lot of inexpensive fun start off with a quality fixed barrel springer and learn to shoot it. Videos, I have watched a lot, A few good ones but most of them the guys could not compete at our local matches . The only experience I have with arnadillos is driving thru Arkansas. I would think a baseball bat would work. I started with a TX200, HW 97s are very good. My Diana 54 is becoming my favorite. On UTube watch Gary Chillingworths videos from England on springers. Like all the shooting sports you will get out of it what you put into it.

This one seems proud of himself

Spring is coming and pigeons are activating. In my farm there are not so many of them, but still they poo everywhere and on everything. And that poo is considered contaminant. Anyway, long story short. My FX Dreamline and AirMaks Krait L is under tuning process (still, unfortunately, lack of time and very bad weather for tuning outside). But Snowpeak P35, in .177, was there to grab it from gun "safe", load, aim, and pull trigger state.
Yesterday took down one pigeon @42m and today 3 pigeons @26m and incline 23deg. They sat on the roof of grain dryer tower. It seemed that they didn't know WTF is going on and I managed to take them down 1 by 1.
One of them fell between silage bales and can't be collected.

Snowpeak P35 in .177, JSB Exact Monster RD-s, 13.43gr, shot at 858fps.

And that one that fell down, between bales.

Last year, in February, the same gun, tune (factory reg. around 130bar and hammer spring adjuster screw turned out, flush with the back of the block), pellet. Eliminated 4+ pigeons, did not take pictures of all of them.

So far I'm impressed with that Chinese airgun.

Hatsan  Flash pup o rings

Thanks for the info all. Checking out the ebay seller

Looks good. Not sure exactly what a poppet is though. Allot of the specific terminology is lost on me 😂

Ebay seller looks good once I get the sizes.

It's the part associated with #2312 above, not sure what it seals against, seeing as the flashpup stem is all steel, it likely has a delrin seat in there, guessing #2314 or #2315, but a tear down would reveal the culprit. Honestly that design seems prone to leaking so its probably it.

Here is the main valve stem spare, but it is likely NOT the culprit so don't order one...but that will lead to in the direction of why air escapes your barrel.

You want to inspect the part this sits/seals against for any wear/damage.

Could also be oring #2316...but without tearing that gun down I am honestly guessing so you'll have to either do that yourself or send it off to someone experienced with these.

Hope this helps,
-Matt

Thank you, a lot here apparently like to come out of the woodwork to attack people. I'm glad you appreciate my humor. You should have seen it when I suggested using Mobil 1 transmission fluid as a lubricant for spring piston air rifles if you thought what I said was funny here they took the cake there.
🤣🤣🤣

Non choked barrels for pellets?

Regarding taper lapping, I’ve only been prepping barrels in this manner for roughly a year so I consider myself to be a newbie in this arena but I’ll share a few comments and observations. This process involves coarser abrasives than I’ve used in the past so I started with 3 poorly performing barrels I had set aside, with the mindset I can’t ruin what is already ruined. All 3 being barrels I had previously attempted to whip into shape with leade work, recrowning, and smoothing the bore…to no avail. Well, suffice it to say these trials were instructive. Two of them shrank average groups by a factor of 2x and one by a factor of 3x. Granted these were complete basket cases so I’m skeptical the average barrel stands to benefit to such a large degree but it nevertheless opened my eyes to the potential.

In the intervening months I’ve done a few barrels for others, both new and existing, and have heard some glowing feedback so I’m pretty well sold on it. From here I just strive to refine my technique and get better over time.
Shilen does this & is very good at it
It's a 1 year wait for there premium taper lapped 22lr now or was as of a couple weeks ago

N/A  Traditional Air Rifle With Least Recoil

sorry ,i was thinking of the OP's statement . Traditional rifles.
I’m guessing you’re from the UK based on the sub12 guns and I’m thinking that this might be a bit of a cultural misunderstanding. Most older American shooters grew up around multi-pump pneumatics, so when we think of old school traditional air rifles we’re thinking of Benjamins, Sheridans and Crosmans. Spring piston airguns over here only became common in the late 80s or early 90s. We always had spring piston BB guns, but proper spring piston air rifles were only sold through a couple of small mail order companies.
