Depends. Take a caliper and check clearance. If adequate, check alignment.

I have a eos 400mm f5.6 that i wouldn't mind trying this to run it against my Pentax spotter to see a winner. This paticular sample of the 400mm really can produce extraordinary results.

Completely normal. It can move around or it can be stuck in the forward position with grease or just from friction. Makes no difference if it rides the bolt backwards when you cycle the lever.

But they don't have a Turkish walnut stock. Are they modular? Can you swap out triggers (gen 1 Prod or Magnum Airpower) or easily/properly mount a scope? How about a barrel change? Sure would be cool with a .20 barrel or .177 or .25.

Is it pricey? Yeah, but life is short and that's a nice walnut stock.

2020 Huben k1 .25 caliber. Lightly used. Roughly 1,000 rds through. No scuffs or scratches. Has always worked flawlessly and never leaks. No crazy reg creep. Beautiful but I have another one I'm keeping

I'd think shoot and adjust . Heck may put it on and not make anything better or could go to worse .. so many threads around on this to look at any tips or pictures to graze over and see what guys done ..

Well guys, Revoman and drumie were correct on what the problem was. When I first looked at the end of the punch it looked smooth and grey, but not shinny. The grey that was seeing was ''lead''. It was removed with a 1'' diameter x 1/4'' thick buffing wheel and some white rouge on the end of a dremel tool. It took about 60 secs to completely clean and polish the tip. I've since swaged 1000 40gr hybrid slugs using the S die with No sticking. The Corbins lube was used, not that it made any difference. Other lubes are just as good with some being better.
For those interested, the S swaging die, (see pic), is needed to make the hybrid style slugs. It does everything except form the nose of the slug. The P die is then used to form the nose. The P die is also used by itself to make standard slugs complete, whether they be hollow points or solid points. In the picture both dies are there along with some of the punches that make the HP's and different bases.
It sure would be nice if all problems were this easy to solve.

Appreciate the kind words! They are the best and now the target of choice in Texas! I had the privilege of seeing the entire operation and witness them being water jet cut, then custom built, tuned and finished. I have fiddled with slugs in my Panthera. I have not tried the Altoros and will not simply because it does not strike me as a good projectile for small game.
I have gone as high as 44 gr and as low as 26.5. The best I have found are the 33-34 gr range and the best of the bunch has been the Zan 33. Second best were the JSB Knockouts.
I have shot the gun a lot at 200 yards recently and the Zans are definitely more consistent at that range. Last weekend I did some shooting at 250. Conclusion? I will leave that distance to Centercut and the Altoros slugs. Or get better with my wind reading and trigger control.

What @Dairyboy said, the altaros smooths in .22 and .25 in the pantheras are lights out to long ranges at 880-900 fps which is what the slugs were designed to shoot at.

Sorry for your loss. Their probably trying to figure out where to put the bullets and when they realize their air rifles probably just toss them out or they’ll go to a gas station ang try and fill it with air .

Great rifle, loves JSB MK2 ammo and 80 shots per fill above 52 fpe. Only selling because I'm on a real herd-thinning mission right now and I have a G2 in .30 caliber.

I see these are going for $429 on Pyramid Air right now. I'll do $300 shipped. Nothing at all wrong with it, and proven to be a very trusty and accurate rifle.

It comes with a barrel band, Hajimoto "no-ring" probe o-ring replacement (much more durable solution), female m-lock ports and a little picatinny rail on the bottom of the front stock. Nice gun! If you're interested and want more/better pics just let me know.

Also have a bunch of its favorite ammo (JSB MK2 33.95 and FX equivalents) if you want to bundle that in. LMK. You'll get a bargain, or I'll sell it on a separate listing here.
