I bought a new HW30S last year. Shortly afterwards, I lucked upon a gorgeous Steve Corcoran Claro Walnut stock. (These stocks are not easy to come by).
Factory HW stock has been sold.
Gun is like new; scope mounted, but never shot. Every few years, I read about how fantastic these are, and pick one up, but don't end up using it. Some day I'll learn. Some of Steve's pics of the stock are more orange in the light. His pics that are deep brown reflect the stock's true color. Scope is not included in sale.
I paid 550 for the stock, and 340 for the HW30S. That's 890 that I have into it.
$700 shipped, insured, signature req'd. PP f&f, others payments considered.
Check my years of feedback; it's all good.

I would hit up @BillG to get your barrel machined. He has been machining FX barrels for AGN members recently.

Yea, you never know what you're gonna see on one of Kevins tables. It's like Christmas, lol. I wanted to come down as it's only about an hour and a half trip for me but i forgot about the scramble commitment i made a while back. Dang, i just know i missed out on something. Can't wait to see how it shoots for ya.

I do have a hw97 mk1 I recently acquired, definately agree it's a sweet shooter. I collect many different brands of air rifles,and figured I'd add a theoben to the mix if it went for a reasonable price which it did not,oh well....something else will come along, Appreciate the input.

The way I chose to set mine up is more like an Uber SBR. Here are some pics.

Have been shooting Standing Air Rifle 10 meter, 50 yard, 100 yard, for over a year now, and eventually will be doing prone and kneeling. I take my time and relax, usually 1 to 2 minutes per shot. IMO it is not a race, with position shooting , there is a process that needs to be adhered to, that should not be rushed.

Tungsten rods for weight.

Or find a dumbell that will fit in a scope ring. Was a couple I was talking to at NAC that did just that. Or you can do what us archers do as well. Get a rod with a threaded hole drilled in it. Then get disk weights and screw in as much weight as you want.

Muzzle to breach... breach to muzzle- not really sure it matters unless using something you shouldn’t . I usually go breach to muzzle but reversed that tonight with the barrel removed and got a few tiny lead flakes even though the barrel was already clean. Years ago a former navy submariner mentioned to me the importance of “back flushing”.

For the breach first believers think about this: everything your patch picks up gets dragged over that all important last quarter inch at the muzzle. Personally I don’t think it matters but you might.
