Chicken coop defense

A .25 Condor SS or even the TalonP will suit your needs very well. The TalonP is actually reduced right now at PA and is a pretty good deal. Quick and easy to pump up and compact as can be.
The Texan might be a little more than you are wanting to use for chicken house guard duty, it’s not backyard friendly, even in the SS version and with that much lead moving at high speed it could be difficult to get safe shots at night time critters if you don’t have a good backstop.

There’s photo of the TalonP I bought my wife recently that she’s using around the place to shoot snakes and coons and such. Plenty powerful and lightweight. She loves it and is excited to grab it whenever she sees a critter that doesn’t belong around our place. I put an Odin 2000 lumen light up front using a full length picatinny rail and you get a perfect sight picture through the scope at night.

I like hers so much that I’m tempted to buy another one since they are on sale at a good discount right now.

Magazines  NLA 22 Mag - Daystate Huntsman Revere

Brand new, never used. Genuine Daystate mag. Purchased from B&K, but not needed. Newest generation flip cover magazine. 22 cal, 11 shot.

Magnet is installed for right-side loading. It was delivered with the pin out and on the magnet as you can see in the pic, so the user can install where needed for their gun.

This was purchased for a Revere, but it is my understanding that it will work with several other Daystate models. Buyer's responsibility to do their own research on that if intending to use it on a gun other than a Revere.

$80 TYD. USA only. Paypal F/F only, regardless of paying fees.

CENTRAL PA SPRINGER MATCH RESULTS 6/24

Indoors I shoot my TX200 .177. We shoot the 50ft NRA paper targets reduced in size by 20%. The scores are so tight we are going to make a change next month. If you hit the animal you will get 1 point. If your shot is totally inside the animal you will get .5 of a point extra. That would have changed today's RESULTS quite a bit. So,a perfect score will no longer be 40x40 but will be 60x40. Big advantage besides awarding extra to better shots, it will allow you to recover from a bad shot, or two. I made multiple trips to TX as my son spent 12 years of his 24 year Air Force career in TX as a gunsmith. I always went in the spring and enjoyed the weather.
Gotcha, thanks. Have to try that. Spring is wonderful here. June not usually too bad, but this year is brutal. Dangerous heat. And crazy storms farther north and in Hill Country. If you want to come down wait till October LOL.

Huma reg tester necessary?

Looking to get a huma reg for fx wc mkiii 22 and tune for 23g nsa slugs. So, what are the experiences of adjusting regs for those who have humas? How accurate/inaccurate are the readings?
My thinking is that if the readings on the regs are accurate but off I could simply compare readings to my gun gauge and get an accurate plus or minus reading from the reg itself this not needing the reg tester.

30 cal JSB Field Report

Good write up. I have the FX WC .30 and wanting to change to .22 or .25 with a barrel kit. Wondering if the cost is worth the change over. Knowing I could just keep the .30, use lighter pellets and less air. I'll have to try those pellets and maybe just keep this WC as is. Accuracy looks very good. Cheers.

Well, after getting my .25 barrel kit for my .30 Wildcat, I can say for sure .25 is a nice change over. Less air being used overall and very accurate using the JSB 25.39 917 fps, HN Hunter Extremes 28.40 905 fps and HN Baracudas 31.02 889 fps. The 600mm barrel is 1:24. Regs at 130/100.

Tuning  Please guide me about Delta Wolf. 22 hp tuning

Hi
I have previously had started a thread on this matter. Now I have moved on with the help of Delta Wolf users.

I have made a proper muzzle brake to send the air pressure Backward in the shroud.

I am focusing on .22 redesigned 25 grain pellets.

Since I need to shoot accurately upto 100 yards, I understand that velocity should be around 950fps.

I have tried two approaches of tuning. One is using the factory mode but keeping the regulator pressure just as much as is required to achieve the required fps.

Then I tuned using manual settings of reg, voltage and dewel time.

My settings in manual way are as following.

Reg 142
Hammer 2715
Voltage 75

On these settings the gun is consistent and reasonably accurate at 24 yards producing 935fps.

In every 8 shots it gave a big flyer.

Then I removed the barrel, polished it and perfected the crown.

Unjustified big flyers vanished.

Still the clean one hole accuracy that I need, is still missing.

It doesn't stand with my Impact M3 and my RAW HM1000X .22 at 24 yards indoor.

I need suggestions to improve the accuracy.

Regards,

Umair Bhaur

.437” average group size over 18 groups (60 shots)

Hey Ross

That’s the way to test for 50 yard BR accuracy! Good representative number of groups and total shots. Newman Buck ( 910 Airguns) told me that he likes to leave the FX Regulators set at near factory levels vs. modifying and playing with them. I sent him my .25 cal Boss ( bought from Mike ) and he tuned it for me a while back. It did like the 33g Heavies at around 875 FPS with the factory reg setting.

I would be ecstatic with .437 sub MOA group size at 50 y in very light outdoor wind conditions with 18 groups. Will be watching you as you lower velocity and see if it gets better.

Nice rifle, like the red.😀

Crosman Mag-Fire Ultra .22 - Alternate Special scope sight in issues

First off package scopes can be iffy.

Check all your screws stock and mount . Sometimes remove the scope base from the gun snd clean the dovetail dry of oils helps . Properly toque Mount and rings ( pretty standard is 15 " inch" pounds rings 25-30 base). Regardless dont tighten the ring caps past 18inlb it could crush the tube)

Next if still moving or knocks off zero use the irons/ open sights to test to kinda see if that holds true . If so maybe the package scope is rattled in side.

Package scopes tend to fail easy under strong springers. I got a few on the junk pile and of them only one that holdd zero but can't focus well anymore.

Yong Heng, 1st oil change

New unit, drained the oil and inspected it before turning it on at all, poured same oil back in and ran in at 10 to 15 minute intervals, and watched the sight glass, approx 45 minutes did notice a darkening shade in the oil. At this point the oil was changed, am using Oreiley AW 46. Have run the unit 1 additional hour, and oil is very clean now. Did buy some Royal Purple, now that it has had its break in runs, will install the RP. 20230604_122756.jpg20230604_123609 - Copy.jpg20230604_124718.jpg

Scope cam

I'm happy with my TriggerCam. The first one was a bad one, they sent me a new one and I can't say enough for the customer service. Found some issues with the Apps and they fixed them, they did an update to the firmware to fix other issues. Of course when Apple does an update to their iOS it get a bit flaky but they fix it fast. Can't say enough about Savannah and her help, takes a while communicating between the West Coast and S. Africa but it gets done.
