Zan BR 100 with U2 ??

Purchased U2 slugger for 100+ yard problem neighborhood crows since Wildcat MK3 Sniper .30, and JSB 44.75s, had scared 50 yard, and under, shots away. Subsequent to that, hurricane force winds took down favorite crow hangout trees at 100+ yards, so moot point. Recently switched back from slugs to JSB 44.75s since U2 shoots well @ 50 yards and pushes out 100fps faster than Wildcat. My Vulcan 3 700mm .30 doesn't do pellets but shoots 59-61.5 slugs as well as U2 so keep magazine filled with them. WM

I don’t have a SR but not much. I would do 1/8 turn and see what it gets you.

You mentioned doing this for accuracy. Have you done any barrel work? Adjusting speed has an effect but if you are fighting a burr on the transfer port or crown nothing is going to change other than the speed.
Thank you

FX  Impact M4 trigger

Can this trigger be used on a Dynamic block FX like Panthera/Dynamic/King? I really like my Panthera but the trigger even after numerous tweaks and adjustments just isn’t as good as the rest of the gun.
That's a great question! I agree, the trigger on the M4 is superior to the Panthera/Dynamic.

A Target

I guess a picture of your mother in law or ex-wife would work too. Probably provide incentive to practice more than a plain target.
For me it'd have to be just be one solid black heart

...BUT, without an ex in the picture I doubt I'd be indulging in airgunning right now. She def would not abide if she were around....so there's that.

Airgun Technologies  U2 choices

The shorter barrel won, just placed my order for a 600mm Green laminate in .22. If he can tune it to 950 with a 28g Zan, great, if not I'll take what I can get. Ordered some .217 Zans to go with it. I'll try them with fingers crossed before ordering sample packs.
I would suggest h&n hp2 sample packs in 217&218 . My u2 700 likes 218

Are we having fun yet?

I am very competitive. Especially with myself. I am an avid archer, and try to get some form of practice in several times a week if not daily. I have realized that the harder I push for a decent score, the stress level goes up as well as the frustration. hence. I stop enjoying what I am doing. I have learned to take a few days off the target bows and drag out the traditional gear. I am using the same approach with my air rifle hobby. who needs sub moa all of the time. There are some nasty old soda cans that need killin. ;-)

Dnt Zulus or ther night?

The Zulus 3x12 will work for what you want. I sold the ThermNight and the 5x20 and use the 3x12 both day and night for sub 100 yard pesting. It’s been a stable pesting scope. I have a thermal monocular for acquisition and then grab the gun and shoot. I have a hikMICRO 4k LRF that I use a lot because it’s 3.5x28 so I get great FOV at low power and then a wide digital zoom range.

Fox jackal yote hunt

I don't think more projectiles works as well as one properly placed projectile. If you can place multiple projectiles properly that will be effective but depending on quantity to make up for questionable placement doesn't seem like a good plan to me.

I wouldn't use less than a 25 on a coyote and if I buy a gun for them it will be a 30 caliber. Heads move a lot so I want to be feel good about a body shot.
