Other  Pcp slugger for shooting 100 to 200 yards for fun, not competition

Does anyone know which manufacturer's barrel the Vulcan 3 is? I remember seeing somewhere that it would be Alpha Precision... Maybe on Krales webpage...If is AP barrel it is worth finding out the groove diameter. I bought an Alpha Precision .22 barrel for Edgun, last summer and .22 airgun slugs could drop almost through.
.220-.221 is closer when groove diameter was measured. Don't know if that's the only one... I don't know anyone here who has the same barrel in .22 size.
The now new made Vulcan 3 has an CZub barrel. Alfa barrel’s are to hard to come by, cause of some issues in central Europe…..I have an early Vulcan 3 700 in .22 with an Alfa barrel which I like very much.

So I get this on my website e-mail

Some people
I hope my list are not like that, but i can run into problems online, not least in the US that seem to be a lot more puritan than us savage Danes.
But ! i will take my slap on the wrist now and then, and i also promise to try and learn from it.

Right now, i can not comment on youtube, not with any of my 6 accounts, i have no idea why.

Or that is maybe a do, i commented on a video with vintage cars a week or so ago, and wrote that i would kill to be able to own / drive some of those cars.
Of course if you come to me and say " i have a 1956 Mercedes SL that's yours if you kill my wife " well its not alrighty then you will get from me.

I do call a shovel a shovel as we say here in Denmark, so it is rare i try to sugar coat things as i think its a disgusting procedure to practice.

Mega pellet trap

I still have the trap based upon an electrical box I mentioned earlier in this thread. It is probably retired now based upon difficulty attaching targets and it being too shallow for enough mulch to prevent hitting the back.

I now use primarily wooden boxes sized to hold 6 to 9 inches of mulch and a 8.5x11 target. I also put a steel back inside the trap just in case a pellet gets through. I'd like it to be 16 gauge but I just use whatever I have on hand. The other steel part is even more important. I put 1/8th steel flat bar around the front of the trap so that the pellet has to hit the cardboard covering the mulch or the steel. My most powerful airgun is only about 50 fpe but it does not distort the 1/8th steel.

I have 3 of these traps. The deepest is about 9 inches deep and is made of 3/4 plywood. It weighs 21 lbs without any pellets. I use it for 40-50 fpe airguns. The other two are about 6 inches deep. One is made of 1/2 inch plywood. The other is made of reinforced 1/4 plywood. They both weigh about 15 lbs full of mulch with no pellets. I use them for airguns under 40 fpe.

If you need a larger backstop for stray shots I would use a horse stall mat or landscape timbers or something. I take my traps in at night. If you don't hit them a lot 2 inch thick concrete papers also work. I have them behind my know your limits target.

N/A  Sekhmet Airgun accessories

It will still show low battery and it will not be what is actually happening. The battery is likely full right now and will be after the extended charging as well. It just seems to be a minor flaw with the 25mm.
Hi there, like I replied above, the battery icon is just an icon, it doesn't show it's empty or full, the battery level depends on the number shown in your gauge after a long touch ( no longer than 10s), check the owner's manual I attached for your easier reference.

2058 yards! A new WORLD record!

This is what should have been done.

Once you see the equipment he uses.. ballistic AP .. etc in order to be as close as possible to target .. usually using high BC bullets.. and you se this guy just seat with a texan and make a hit a 2000y .. you know is a really bad joke.. few years ago there was a YouTube channel called AVerrybigrifle showed a guy with his highly modified AF using the prime of barrels Bartlein ,etc custom twists making hits a 1000y .. shot after shot . Even externally regulated.. hits at that distance was no easy task..

Brocock/BRK  Ghost owners: please check if your Ghost’s cocking lever is jolted when shooting pellets

Upon closer inspection, that threaded hole on which the grub screw goes is directly above the air transfer port that channels the air to the barrel. I think that was the drill bit’s entry hole to drill the hole to make the transfer port and when drilling was complete the grub screw was inserted to plug the entry hole. If indeed air is escaping from or around the screw, BRK didn’t use any sealing agent (o-ring, teflon tape around the grub screw, Loctite, etc.) to prevent any air leaks due to air escaping around the barrel, which might be causing the vibration, and why I’m getting some inaccuracy.

Ruger  Reassembly of the trigger housing for the Ruger impact Maxx elite I only had my rifle for 2 days and somebody found it on their ignorance to take it a

Moe M. How much did that cost you?
Sorry for being so late with a reply, as you know life somehow always gets in the way, I was lucky that I ran into a member here that had the same gun and the same bad trigger and had done the research and with some help fixed his problem, he came to my rescue with pictures and a replacement spring.
The fix didn't require me to take the trigger group apart, I just had to remove a couple of pins, take out the original spring and replace it with the new one, then replace the pins and put the action and stock back together, now that your trigger group is apart I can't offer any advice about how to get it back together and working, I have read on several air gun forums that unless you are an experienced air gun smith you shouldn't attempt to take that trigger apart because it's a bear to put back together.
My only advice is to keep on looking for a fix, you may strike it lucky on U-Tube or some other place, or find someone who can help, while it is an inexpensive air gun, it is well worth saving.
Good luck with your search.

Need help identifying these pcp air tank components. Please

DIN 300 Bar screw on fitting takes either a #111(smaller) or #112 O-ring 70 - 90 shore hardness.
The washer with the bonded seal is know as a Dowty Sealing Washer or bonded washer..
For BSP 1/8" fitting
This is very good intel. Thank you very much!

.30 barrel thoughts/questions

Those barrels can be had in several diameters. I have previously purchased barrels from Todd with diameters that are not listed on the cost sheet.....

You should reach out to someone like Bill Greathouse, I'm sure he knows exactly what is available and can fit the barrel as well.

Accessories  SOLD Marauder Gen 1 "style" trigger, for use on 7/8" tubed guns

Bought this from Airgun Revisions some time back when they were still available. Note it is designed with a slightly shorter sear height, a spacer is not required on a 7/8 tubed gun such as Prod/disco/etc.

i have used it on a Gen 1 marauder but your hammer cannot be undersized else sear engagement will be unreliable.

Sorry, but I lost the trigger guard, this is for the trigger assembly only.

Airforce  Need some help

I’ll try to get some better pictures up tonight when I get home from work. It was acting as though the pressure held in the line after closing the refill tank was keeping the top hat open. So when I opened the purge valve for the line it just emptied the rifle tank. I’ve seen pictures of other peoples fill tanks and it looks like they have a shut off down at the fill adapter as well as at the tank, wonder if that’s needed. 🤔

Air Arms  Hahn 45 BB SA Revolver

Hahn 45 BB SA Revolver

*Excerpt from my CD “Old Airguns and Memories”

Hello to all;

Crosman CO. introduced the HAHN .45 BB 18 shot CO2 Revolver in 1958, it was patterned after the Colt Firearms single action .45 Colt pistol the “Peacemaker” this was an established manufacturing policy with “Crosman, making copies of traditional Fire arms” and a good one I might add, that is still practiced today. The Hahn BB revolver mimicked the Colt pistol in almost all outward appearance facets, sights, weight, length etc. and might be mistaken for the real thing, at first glance! It was powered by 1-12 gm. C02 cartridge. I picked mine up at a gun show in San Antonio, Texas in 1982 with original box and papers and is under review herein.

Crosman enlisted one of the “Fast Draw” exhibition shooters of that time frame, Dee Woolem To help advertise the Hahn BB revolver and indeed Crosman made some very nice “Fast Draw” leather holsters” as an accessory option. Crosman also promoted the “Fanning“ manipulation aspect of the pistol, where the trigger was held back and the palm of the other hand used to manipulate the spur hammer in rapid fashion, an aspect most of us are familiar with in this time frame, Roy Rogers, Gene Autry etc. (well at least some of us are familiar). Production of the Hahn BB revolver lasted until 1970 when it was superseded by the Pellet firing version, the-Single Action 6.

Specs on the Hahn BB revolver were as follows: black finish, white Staghorn plastic grips, Oal,-10- 3/8 inch, weight 2 lbs. 2 ounces, smooth bore barrel, and single action, safety was applied by pulling hammer back to first click, about a quarter inch locking the hammer & trigger, 18 shot capacity (6 in cylinder 12 in magazine). This was a really attractive looking CO2 single action revolver!!

To charge the pistol place the hammer on safety, unscrew the thumb nut at front of barrel, insert a 12 gram CO2 cartridge small neck first hold cartridge in place and tighten thumb nut screw until tight against the CO2 cartridge, cock the hammer to full cock position and fire the pistol downrange this will pierce the CO2 cartridge and charge the valve system, place the revolver hammer on safety. Crosman also provided a small thin piece of black plastic tubing that would snap over the CO2 cartridge to cover it, enhancing the aesthetics of the revolver. More often than not this was missing on most of the revolvers I have seen. Mine fortunately had the original piece! Not to worry though a duplicate could be made from a piece of ¾ inch ID flexible plastic tubing from Home Depot etc.

Loading the revolver; move magazine slide tang forward and lock into notch, hold gun barrel up. Pour 6 BBs into loading hole, revolve the cylinder by hand and hold gun muzzle up at an angle to allow BBs to roll into holes in Cylinder. Then pour more BBs into loading hole until full. Release magazine slide tang from notch. Total BBs 18!

I had not shot the Hahn revolver in several years so before range testing I decided to perform a complete valve rebuild. If one wants to have fun afternoon challenge and remember all the cuss words you may have forgotten, simply completely disassemble and reassemble a Hahn 45 BB revolver!!!! Man these old units are fun! Guess I was just having a bad day, enough on that, after the rebuild I was ready for the field testing, I had never seen any velocity or accuracy claims for the Hahn revolver and all I had done was simply plink with it so I was looking forward to the field test.

I set up a target at 15 ft. and as is my usual practice used a ½ inch adhesive dot on cardstock paper, I used only one dot instead of my customary 3 because I did not expect much in the way of accuracy from a 5 inch smoothbore and BBs, I chronographed simultaneously with accuracy testing using Daisy plated BBs. Shooting from a bench rest I was able to achieve a 6 shot group of 3.600” center to center subsequent groups measured between 3.400”- 3.600” center to center not outstanding but certainly minute of beer can angle and all that is necessary with the Hahn 45 revolver, this is a fun Co2 pistol to shoot, not a target pistol!!

Velocity over 45 shots averaged 277 fps a high of 313 fps and a low of 240 fps for a little less than 1 ft. lb. About 60 shots were available on one CO2 cartridge at least on my pistol. I will say that playing cowboy with it, by fanning the hammer really used up CO2 FAST!!! I never experienced any malfunctions with the pistol during any of the field testing.

The Hahn 45 BB revolver is an extraordinary example of Crosman/Hahn ingenuity and market savvy from a bye gone era, get one if you can!!!!!

As a side note on these older units, I might mention that in the late 80s I contacted Crosman in regards to any service manual that might be available and they said that since I was in the Gunsmithing business (at the time) they would provide me with a copy of the Crosman Authorized Service Manual” that they send out to their repair centers (no charge) for Pre -1965 models, covering 23- rifles and pistols from that time frame, that was all they had . Which they did, over 200 pages, EVP, parts numbers etc. notes to Factory Authorized Repair Centers regarding revision changes, updates including a list and of repair tools available, (one was a set of gun frame jigs used to repair the 44-36-SA6-45 pistols, for 3 bucks) wish I would have ordered one!! Indeed, I had to fabricate some jigs to repair the 45!!! The manual was real asset for someone like me who had and still does have, a real interest in these older units, I have found it to be an invaluable aid, over the years and am grateful to this day that Crosman sent it to me!!!!
