Anyone shooting Griffin Slugs in Impact 35 cal?

Is this out of a 800mm barrel? I have not tried anything that light. I just got 85 & 90 grain Griffins and some 79 & 93 grain Nielsens but haven't had a calm day to test them. If you try the 68 grainers let me know how they do. Getting the velocity up there by shooting a lighter slug doesn't sound like a bad idea. I have never had good luck with shorter slugs in the Superior liners in general though.

Makes me wonder how they will do as well. The superior liners are for lighter projectiles so with that in mind they may do well. If the FX Hybrid slugs ever make it to the market we would know for sure but we have been waiting since the summer for those.

The FX hybrids are supposed to be 68gr so Griffin has the weight that matches; hopefully they will be what you need. The JSB pellets are 81gr and shot great out of the 800mm but it would be nice to get either the hybrids or a heavy liner for those of us that wish to shoot slugs…

you are going to need the new slug liner FX recently made available.
Thanks. Yes, I have had a heavy 800 mm liner on backorder for quite some time. Hope it comes on soon. Am also waiting on Bullet Central's tensioner/shroud combo for the 800mm .35 that is supposed to come out in December now. I bought a set for my .30 cal. They are absolutely gorgeous and well made. What barrel length, diameters, speed and weights have you had luck with in .35?

I've ordered a batch of Griffin slugs for the 35 cal at 68 grain. But I'm wondering if someone else out there has some recommendations or experiences with these already?
I'm ordering one soon with heavy slug liner and talked to Utah Airgun staff and he said absolutely. Btw why such light weight?my .25 condor slings 59.3 grain slugs.249 Griffin slugs( choked barrel) and am more accurate than any pellet. Can it not handle bigger grain? Subsonics are all about punching with weight instead of high velocity hydrostatic shock that we all wish we had. What kind of bullets? Dude boat tails all the way I have not gone back to flat base. Game changer

Make sure you have slug liner if u don't already. To me .35 should come with it. It's a hunting caliber and bucks wind so well if heavier slugs especially. I still can't believe it doesn't come with slug liner. Rape job to get to the same accuracy as 22lr huh?

Stay light in grain weight even if you have the trashy power kit (don't do it) I have had great luck with hybrids of course they make it, Griffin ldc boats single loads but just not enough power. Xan 93 grain work great, just ordered 2 weights of griffin match 357 and praying for success. 93 and 112 grain I'll let you know. But out of the box unfortunately it's lights out with hybrids. Which to be frank is gay. **** fx never again

Keep your grain weight low, they marketed it to do way more than it can. Maybe get power kit like I did but still anything over 90 or 93 grain zan is as big as I get without dropping off the velocity to the 800s. Up north airgun guy sure hustled me. He's a cuck for fx if you don't know. I'm going AAA next. Tired of spending big money on dainty little barrels that if u tap a branch you are missing your target. Ugh 😫

Don't trust anyone who reps for fx especially up north airgunner. He's there lying mark and I hope he has trouble sleeping at night. Lying to get my hard earned money?? Maybe I should take a trip up north and find this lying pos
Last time **** fx and I just got what I thought was my dream rig and am let down beyond belief
@Preston tist As much as members have lambasted the brand over the years, that’s on you for not reading. If you notice this is an old thread and many others have been posted since this one was created. Stop crying and suck it up. No one made you buy an FX gun. It appears that you fell for the hype. Besides, this thread is about Griffin Airgun Ammo, which by the way, are some good quality-swaged airgun slugs. Did you shoot any from an Impact?
