Anybody can check please the .22 mag dimension to me please?
My story: .......... for some time I am desperately trying to tune the MRD's with the .22x500 poly barrel with no luck, the pellets tumbling or just eratical POI.
Yesterday I re-polished the lead-in also the a new crown on this barrel, (and every time I replace I always mark it with a color marker).
Today at my gunclub I shoot five different brand and weight pellets @50 meters, averaging 1-2" group size but not smaller, but the MRD's flying very bad, a total disaster I can call it.
Checking now the surface I painted with a black marker, that lower edge is shiny (about 200 pellets ran through it today), that gives me the idea the two holes (in the mag and the barrel) are not 100% aligned. The next picture what I measure on the .22 mag, 30.52 mm = 1.2015". I remember somewhere back in time reading that some people had a same or similar situation.
This small misalignement can work unnoticeable with lightweight pellets, but the MRD is more a solid mass body almost like a slug (btw I have no .22 slugs to try this out).
