Crosman service

Hope this was a goof and not typical of crosman service, i purchased a fortitude and out of box with 2800 pressure it wouldn't push pellet 3 foot, sent in asking for replacement but they replaced transfer port oring, when i got it back after 3 weeks it would not cock the trigger nine out of ten attempts ,when it did it still wouldn't push the pellet more than a couple feet, also the safety was inop, Sent it back again and another 3 weeks it's here and pushes crosman hollow at 650 fps, hammer spring near max, service is calling me back monday hopefully with a solution.

@Rawroots I’ve dealt with Velocity Outdoors’ (Crosman’s parent company) customer service/support and warranty departments on multiple occasions. They should be able to help you resolve the issue. It’s helpful to keep track of the name of who you spoke with, the date, and what sort of resolution they offered you. That way you can state what’s already been tried, when, and with whom in order to push your request forward towards an agreeable resolution. At least this works, more often than not, in my experience.

Thats incouraging, so far I've had it in my possession a total of 3 day and velocity has had it 6 weeks going on 9 weeks soon, buying used on airgun nation maybe the way to go next time.

Wow! I have never had to send my Fortitude back, but I have had to replace some baffles. If it is still under warranty, you should send it back for a complete replacement or refund.

Considering how HIGH they raised the price (I got mine for less than $240 with the now extinct AGN 25% discount) and now they are asking $455?????? WOW! The Fortitude is NOT a $455 worthy gun!

DEMAND they take this lemon back and send you a new gun.

Crosman has worked with me on every problem I have had with anything "Crosman" I have owned that was still under warranty. And they have been good when I needed parts as well. You just have to "KNOW" the part number(s) you need, although they are helpful when you get them on the phone, YOU NEED TO KNOW the part number yourself!!!! Or you may not get what you want.

Crosman really NEEDS to come into the 21st century online, instead of the mix of 1950s and 1990s they use today.

Good luck!

My fortitude is being worked on a third time and asked to double check operation before sending back to me, i told service tech if it still is defective that it's going to be put in a vise and curled with a long piece of pipe then show forums and retailers how happy i am with crosman service. He said this double check would add a additional week, it's going to be interesting.

As I "seem" to be the resident fortitude "expert" (I am not), let me ask you a couple of questions...

What was the initial problem? If that is this: you posted August 7, 2022

Then no reply needed on that question. However...

What is the problem they are working on now? You really did not say what the problem is in your most recent post.

And, NO, I am no YES MAN for Crosman. However, when I call them and explain the problem, they have fixed it even though I can be a real AH at times. (sigh)

So, again, WHAT IS THE PROBLEM that caused you to send it in again to Crosman? Have you "modded" the gun?

I am curious, as the only things in over 2 years that I have had a problem with is the HS weakening and damage to the baffles that I can't explain.

Thanks!

You are so unhappy, that I would suggest you send it back for a full refund. I don't think you are going to be happy with this gun and perhaps Crosman will offer it to me for about $100. (chuckle)
