Tuning Questions

I am truly sorry to keep asking questions. I know that I must annoy, but I don;t have another source right now.
The question again is about the Matauder Pistol. I found specs on factory settings. They list Hammer spring, striker, and valve meter.
Can someone explain these to me. In the vidieos they only talk abut two settings.
I am so happy to have this gun but my fondness is limited, If I can,t get it toshoot I will have wasted my money.
You reckon the fellers on Youtube got all the good ones and II got the dregs?

Don’t get frustrated yet.
You have stepped into the dark world of tuning. That is of course over dramatic. If you have never tuned it seems a dark art. Once you have floundered around and finally gain understanding of the process it gets much easier.
I cannot offer you any advice on the Marauder guns as I have never messed w9th one.
There are a lot of people here who shoot and understand them. Be patient, someone will come along and offer assistance.

i never knew a prod had a valve meter adjust, if it does i never touched it .. beyond that they should shoot good pretty much anything you do to them, i have my striker all the way in and spring wound in pretty tight lol .. forget the exact number, but if it gets hard to cock thats too much lol .. way i see it tuning with a prod is mostly about getting it efficient .. as luck has it with a larger tp mine 'putts' pretty good with my cranked in settings .. theres a distinct sound itl make when its balanced good imo .. but beyond all that if its not shooting good it may have a mechanical issue, once again, i think they shoot pretty accurate with about any tune ..

Hammer spring is the larger hex screw used in the back and the “striker” must be the smaller hex screw in the back that is the tip of hammer or that part that strikes the valve
Valve meter must just be that air gauge as the non regulated guns shoot in a bell curve meaning it climbs some fps then levels off and drops and keeps dropping as it looses air. By starting at a certain “valve meter” spot them may be referencing that tightest fps spread or top part of the bell curve

I think you hammer spring my not be factory either it has been replaced or cut

Been too since I have opened mine up to reference anything like spring size etc

I after filling up and i would try all sorts of hammer tension.

That and take a piece of toilet paper and lay over magazine and fire and see it it gets hit by sone air reveling a leak at the barrel oring
